Riga / Latvia is the capital city of this Baltic country, set at the mouth of the River Daugava. With museums and concert halls Riga is considered a cultural center of the Baltics.
In the city center we will the medieval and pedestrian-friendly old town. We start our tour at the The Freedom Monument. We explore the old town with its many squares like the busy Livu Square is surrounded with bars and nightclubs.
Within 1½ hours we see the city center and end our tour where we started - at the Freedom Monument.

Отличная съемка! особое отдельное спасибо за иву справа за мостиком с замочками на 2.01-2.04. Исключительно знаковое для меня и жены место из июня 1985-го. Она тогда не такая большая была. еще спасибо за 1.20 с хвостиком. Ул. Пилс, 14 и 17. В этих домах работал в 70-х - 80-х.

Thank you! There are some great cities to walk around - New York, Rio, Tokyo which I enjoyed before filming. Recently I was in Rome which also is nice to explore. Overall I like cities with gardens and a mix between old and new - little traffic. Amsterdam is nice in that regard and several districts in Tokyo and NYC - which is too big to explore as a whole. I still hope to to the US, Brazil and Japan again soon

When arriving from RIX the bus to the center surely goes through less touristy parts of Riga. Sometimes people request some less touristy parts of cities though I find they are barely watched. I'll still mix something in like showing ore parts of Prague than the famous old town. I still want to return to Riga as the weather back then was too rainy and on my first video in January 2019 it was just winter kzfaq.info/get/bejne/pc-KmtSc3qi5iKs.html - real summer is missing and Jūrmala also should get a videowalk Thanks for watching!

In the past I've only visited South Africa for 3 weeks and spent a similar amount in total in North Africa - Egypt and Morocco. At the moment travel isn't the safest so I'd be interested what African cities you would consider interesting for walks. For myself surely Cape Town is a favourite.. Johannesburg has some nice districts like Maboneng though some areas there seemed dangerous. I will surely go North+South America and Asia again first before returning to Africa though

Thanks. I've been to a few and will see when some travels happen. Marrakesh, Rabat, Essaouira were my favourites there in Morocco. Around 10 years ago in some Moroccan places weren't that open on having photos taken. Even though I didn't take photos of people I even had to delete a few pics back then where some guy appeared in the distant background and got angry. I wonder how that will work with video so we'll see.

Latvia is a dangerous country for tourists. On the coast, tourists are hunted by the police and fines from 100 to 1000 euros are imposed for violations of protected areas. I recommend choosing the coasts of Estonia and Poland, it is safer there.

I just was in Riga a few days ago. Never felt I hunted by police. As you mean nature reserves, I'd like to know more as I've cycled the Curonian Spit in Lithuania and want to see more nature at some point. Surely they are looking out for people breaking the laws. In the early days of cheap flights many tourists flew in just for the weekend to get drunk and then misbehaved. There were hefty fines like urination at the Independence monument etc. but probably justified. The Baltic capitals like Vilnius, Riga and Tallinn a bit are a prime destination for stag parties. Sometimes things get a bit out of hand and that can indeed turn expensive...
