Probably not the most paradisiacal beach but at least you have one and, everything seems to be clean. I love the sound of your steps over these stones. Great walk as usual. Saved to watch again on big tv tonight 😉

@wanna walk. It's a tidal estuary 51 degrees north of the equator, further north than Ottowa in Canada. It's hardly going to be paradise.

Marvellous! I have been speechless and teletransported to that beautiful river ...will do that walk for sure on my next visit to my dear London. 😍. I also feel fascinated about mudlarking...😯

Marian, it’s a lovely stretch to walk, I wasn’t sure at the time if they were mudlarking or picking up rubbish near Tate Modern.

It’s amazing how clean that ‘beach’ is. So nice to see. No plastic bottles etc everywhere. I think the majority of people in London don’t drop litter.

What a fabulous walk! Wonderful to hear the sounds of the waves and your footsteps, I wonder if you did a spot of mud larking whilst there? there is treasure to be found.....:)

How do you prevent people from actually talking to you? Have you got a sign pinned to your forehead or top saying, 'no distractions please.' It's impressive. Loving the walks.

GoodWalkers the Thames is tidal and the tide is out. When the tide comes back in it will cover that beach.

The riverbank walk part quite reminds me of Puerto Madero in Buenos Aires at some extent (check it out: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/eMhxf7ygzbWqlas.html ). Nice video.

Beach is not a very pretty sight, although you get an unconventional view. I was glad to see you come up at the globe theatre.
