Knee scooters are beyond amazing. There is no way you can easily manage a walker if you are non-weight bearing. You literally have to hop on your good leg and this puts a strain on you shoulders/upper arms/wrists. Been there, doing that with three breaks in my ankle. Another suggestion. When undoing the straps on your boot, make sure you velcro each strap back against itself so you don’t end up trying to tear apart a tangle of straps that have velcro’d themselves together.

A compression sock I found is too painful to pull onto a broken 5th metatarsal foot as you show. Iced first before putting the sock on. Before I got the short boot, after getting a second opinion about surgery, the first podiatrist wrapped a cast tape to stabilize the fracture and wrapped the foot in a compression bandage. Was given small short air boot with built in air bladders from the second doc. My big toe is a half inch away from the front of boot. You definitely need to wear a thin cotton or cast sock esp. here in the tropics if it's not too painful to pull on foot and up the calf. Your video pointed out several excellent items..the leveler, the boot sole insert and the walker! Thank you!

I wore a HOKA One slide on the other foot to even out my boot. It worked very well.

Uneven gait is the least of my problems. My boot is causing pressure sores on my leg. A thick sock and one of those little pads isn't helping.

I broke my foot in four places.I wear a high boot and a sneaker with an Evenup on my sneaker..what really is working well for me is my Merrill hiking boot on my good foot..it evens up my hips and also gives me some good traction..Can you make a video with some gentle stretching while you boot is on..I was in a cast..now I’m in a boot..I could take it off to sleep shower ..I do take the boot off to gently message my foot get the circulation flowing..my calf muscle is depleted ..Thank you

thanks for video. I have an Arizona brace and the boot is much bigger insole than my regular shoes so hips, back and knees have been hurting.

been 3 weeks an 3 days since i fractured my calcaneus luckily it was a small fracture an no surgery is needed but when putting my air cast back on how tight should it be because there some times i feel like the padding is pushing on the back of my heel a bit and i have the air cast you show to get in this video. i also do where tall compression socks.

Welp since i am not fully 5ft tall and the long boot comes almost to my knee, i guess i have to go with the short one.

Does fracture of the medial base 2nd proximal phalanx normally requires any kind of cast (or fracture air boots)? One orthopedic doctor actually told me that it is counter productive to use any cast. I currently use a temporary cast off and on and feel that I would be putting more pressure on my injured ( with swollen soft tissues + a fractured bone) foot if I were to not have any support. I also do not want to risk displacing the broken bone --though I walked alot immediately after injuring my foot and the X' ray does not show any displacement. Thank You!

watched 3 or your videos still no info on how to walk in one.....and I love how he is sitting on the floor bending his foot ,,, ahhhhhhh ours is injured we cannot sit on the floor or move that limb.....
