I live in Germany and I have two Neighbors who left Somalia 6 years ago. They are honestly the friendliest, sweetest most considerate people I have ever met. They are a young couple and have three adorable sons born here in Germany. They have made a beautiful life here but still speak of going back to their country when it is stable (and I want to go with them). They often talk to me of the horrors they faced getting to Europe. 😟 I love them so much, they are like my family, can't wait to show them this vlog. They are from Somalia, not Somaliland🇸🇴

I was thinking a similar thing. I noticed that Somaliland has a better economy than Venezuela. People aren't spending four months salaries on olive oil and are getting by just fine. It's quite sad how Venezuela ended up in the state it is.

It's because Somaliland's next door neighbor Somalia has terrorists unfortunately. So just to be on the safe side all Western Tourists that stand out are obliged to have securities between the cities. Only in Hargeisa and Berbera Westerners can walk around freely. Until Somaliland is recognized and builds a wall or another psychical barrier from Somalia, Somaliland doesn't have a choice but to be extra careful with their Tourists.

I've been a traveler my entire life, atleast in my mind. Back in the old days b4 the Internet, all we had was basic cable TV, I would love the travel channel and some bloke named Alby or somethin. He sailed around the world back in the 60's when it was a much different world. Now thankfully I have KZfaq,(don't watch TV 10yrs.now), and am very grateful for your work. It inspires me to keep saving and breaking free of the matrix and spend my remaining years adventuring. Just meeting and living among the local people, absorbing their cultures, living out of a backpack and a strong faith. Peace 2 You my fellow Robinson Brother.

The guy putting The khat into his mouth wanted him to enjoy and he said ‘’ dadka waa dadkeeni’’ which means ‘’his people is one of our people’’ a very beathiful sentence and it shows the love of humanity that are still in Somalia after all that they have been through. Absoulte stunning ❤️💯🇸🇴
