Walking the ancient Kishon, where Deborah defeated Sisera

The ancient Kishon river is where Deborah and Barak defeated Sisera, the captain of the Canaanite army. According to the Biblical account, Sisera’s 900 chariots of iron were swept away by the rushing torrent of the river. This river is believed to be today’s Nahal Tavor (Tabor Stream) which starts in Nazareth and spills into the Jordan River. So join us on this expedition, as we journey alongside the ancient river, explore the ruins, and search for the waterfall.

Thank you Sergio and Rhoda for bringing the true Israel to the rest of the world. Going beyond the tourist sites and bringing ALL of the Israel where Jesus walked and lived, and all of our biblical heritage, it's people and recorded historical sites to life. Your love for Israel is so evident in every video and it makes me long for this home in my heart as if I'd been born and raised here. Love you both, and thank you, Shalom!!!

What I love about these videos is that you don't just give the historical background for these locations, but that you experience them for yourselves. It's not just a dry travelogue but a personal adventure. Jumping off a waterfall---it's great to see boys being boys.

I just love this channel. I have always wanted to go to Israel but I don’t think that’s going to happen. Thank you to you and to Rhoda for making the Bible come alive. What is amazing to me is the vastness of the terrain. Picturing Jesus and his disciples walking to all these destinations. You guys have a car. They didn’t even have a horse to ride. It must’ve been so tiring even though they had places to stop and stay while ministering. You don’t realize it when you read it in the Bible until you actually see with your own eyes the distance between everything. God bless both of you and your families. Thank you again

Sergio and Rhoda, I've really enjoyed watching your videos during quarantine. I started about a month and a half ago with your first video and watched all the way through. “the Stars fought from Heaven”. what a thrill it is to see the country around Mt.Tabor where Deborah and Barack and the army of Israel watched while the Lord sent a storm and so much rain that Siseras chariots were stuck in the mud in the valley below. and, defeated,tried to flee across the river which washed them away. Thank you for this adventure. I hope you do a visit to Mt Tabor, I would love to see this holy mountain up close

I HAVE READ THE BIBLE MANY, MANY TIMES. TO GET TO SEE THE LAND, WOW, I CAN'T DESCRIBE THE JOY OF GETTING TO SEE IT WITH PEOPLE WHO KNOW IT. WATCHING YOU IS LIKE BEING THERE WITH A COUPLE THAT LOVE THE LAND ALMOST AS MUCH AS THEY LOVE EACH OTHER. MAY GOD BLESS AND KEEP YOU ALWAYS SAFE.

Debbie Willoughby In a single afternoon at a Lake my Dad saw numerous people taken away by ambulance for diving in shallow water. I learned from this lesson, please NEVER dive unless you can see the bottom. One time I jumped in off a rope swing and even that could have killed me. Atleast if you are ready to die, then okay. But if not.. Don't jump.
