Brings back so many memories. I lived there from 1987 to 1999 and so many things have changed. That GPO steps used to be our hang out place after school :) thank you for posting the video, certainly a pleasant trip of a memory lane.

And this was during the Covid Pandemic, we were able to lead a relatively normal lifestyle because we did the quick instant shutdowns of 5 days. WA's economy was the only state not to go into a recession and in fact grew by 1.6%, the only thing missing was overseas and interstate tourists.

Oh, you can say that again. Over here in Europe it's an ongoing catastrophy, governments right now are nearly ignoring the crisis and always favor particular short term economic interests over human lifes. But overall, your strategy protected not only you guys over there, but also the economy. By the time the pandemic ends (maybe in a couple of years), you will be far better off than most of the other western civilizations, if you stay on track and not go down Glady's rabbit hole and false narratives like "living with covid".

Hi there, here in Perth we hardly ever wear masks because we didn't have any cases in the community... it is going to be different though once the borders are opened in February 2022...

Multiculturalism is destroying every western city in the world. I was in Perth 2009/2010, it was a litte bit multicultural, but it was most Australian. You will realize that multiculturalism is a doom, sooner or later. From a Brazilian.

The Asian population prefer the city centers for some reason (same in Sydney and Melbourne), in the greater metro where the large shopping malls are it looks different. Multiculturalism isn't the problem (Aus is around 8-9% Asian/Indian). The real problem is feminism, contraception, the fact governments pay women to leave marriages, marriages themselves are plummeting (because legally its a really bad deal for men) and woke culture (they don't even know what a woman is!) is destroying the West. Countries outside the West don't have those issues at all - they don't waste their time with it.
