I love your videos, I’m sorry you haven’t done more. 😊 Really like the captions with interesting information and pointing out historical sites. And I especially like your not talking , but with audio on to hear the sounds of the city. I hope you return to filming because I’d love walks in other areas of San Miguel. I’m definitely a fan! ❤

Where we lived in SMA definitely NOT clean. The tourist areas - yes they clean them. But in the mexican neighborhoods - different story

@@YogawithDeLora Tell me a place in the world that is a 100-150-200 % clean. DeLora La Exploradora...you sound bitter, go make some money, move to a better part of San Miguel, you are probably one of those gringos that went to Mexico thinking that with a 100 dollars could live in a country club.

Was able to spend several summers in San Miguel in the mid 80s early 90s. Lovely Community very expat friendly. Love walking the streets having a copy in the Square near the cathedral walking up the hill to the Bullring or going to exist exhibitions and lectures at the Arts Institute. The market down on the waterfront was always a treat

Very nice video, lovely and quiet so early in the day. Only thing is after about 8:30 -9am no vehicles are allowed in the most central area (ie near the Parroquia) - makes it even better not worrying about vehicles 😊

The great singer Pedro Vargas was one of his beloved citizens - he was born there -. I also remember now a beautiful cover of the disappeared magazine Life, from the 1950s, of one of its streets, in black and white (the "Calle Alta").

This video is without a doubt the best i have seen on san miguel de allende. i went to san miguel last year in september and again this year in october for dia de muertos. It was the best vacation ever. as a matter of fact, my wife and i are thinking about retiring there. keep up the good work. you just earned my subscription.

I've looked up the average temps for this place and it's 81 F average highs during summer . The average highs in San Antonio Tx are in the 100s around 110 F especially heat index so it wouldn't be at all unbearable and it would take a while to get that high so sounds kinda pleasant . When did you visit ? The absolute best temps in my limited travels were in San Juan De Los Lagos jalisco for two weeks . Never used AC and very pleaseant the most pleasant temps in the 70s the highs and daily cooling lil showers . Carried an umbrella everywhere I went . Walked everywhere like to my American bank's ATM and withdrew pesos . At night spent them in the square right in front of the Basilica ❤❤😍😍

I wonder how many visit Mexico or stay living there as opposed to other popular places ? Compared to Europe or other places ? I mean living in Europe with its much higher cost I think wouldn't get that many Americans , just wondering , maybe look it up

Wow! I cannot believe how beautiful the 1st city park is! In FL we have parks but it’s too hot to be outside most of the year. Lots of look alike streets, but where do cars park? Where are the homes & cafes & shops? Hidden.?

San Miguel was founded more than 400 years ago, they were not thinking about cars, the streets may look alike but the homes do not, they are very unique along with the colors, there are parking spaces disguised as colonial buildings, or empty lots serving as parking spaces, but overall it is a challenge to have a car in central San Miguel, you see no flashy ads/signs for stores, or any businesses for that matter, because it is one of the rules not to have them in order to preserve the city's status as world heritage site (declared by the United Nations) to protect its ancient arquictecture, the climate in San Miguel as well as in central mountainous old colonial Mexico is close to perfect very moderate (not too cold not too hot)do some research and you will see. I was in Florida for a couple of months I could not stand the nasty humid heat..I hope I answered your questions.

Some parts of the town look nicer than others, but that happens in every country. A lot of the buildings look the same, so I would be so lost. 😩
