I haven't been to Catalina since 1992! I use to go a lot but after I got married, I moved up to San Luis Obispo, I'm back in Southern California with my hubby, we need to go to Catalina for a few days real soon. A lot looks the same but a few new things added since. Thank you for the walking tour! 😁

Great camera work. Further up the island is Two Harbors; a much smaller version of Avalon but remarkably beautiful. The drive from Two Harbors across the isthmus to Little Harbor is also very scenic. The west side of Santa Catalina island has better waves and crystal clear waters.

Thank you. I lived there, I left the island for the last time in 1981-ish. In you video I saw my old home, that brought back a lot of memories. It is amazing to see all that has changed and all that still seems to remain the same. As you walked down the pier I wanted to wave and say "hi" to J at the rental boats, then I just wondered if he and his family still own the business? I remember back in the 1970's, the town was a tourist trap in the summer and Maybarry in the winter. It was a nice place to grow up as a kid.

Your videos are great, with the exception, that you keep the camera pointed straight ahead and you pass many points of interest without us seeing them.

Catalina is weird. Its a tiny little island, buts its huge if your drunk and on foot.

I was here every tuesday and thursday when I was still working in longbeach. Everything here is so expensive! I love this island though

They have a major grocery chain on the island so I looked up the price and they sell a 20oz bottle for 2.29. Probably more at the smaller stores.
