What company makes your KAFO’s? Are they relatively lightweight? Do you find that you can sit in your wheelchair while wearing them for an extended period of time or is it too uncomfortable? I might have to start utilizing KAFO‘s again because of pain in my knees and ankles

Did you have to build up to doing this and do you think over time you’ll develop more strength and be able to walk around for longer durations? I get my legs to hold me if I tap them too so I’m wondering. I havnt had the balls to try to move the walker yet.

I usually just use a piece of foam for beds. I just cut it to the size I want. B li t recently I got a cushion from Walmart. I believe it's for your back. I got it in the car department.

How long ago was your injury? I have one strong leg and my right leg buckle. My therapy tell me to keep walking. It's not easy because my brace is digging inside my skin.

My accident was April 12, 2011. So 8 years now. Have you tried to get then refited? And have them ad some extra padding where it digs in.

@MRreptile134 жыл бұрын
Man I took almost 3 times what I was supposed to be taking. 2 pills a day what was prescribed to me. I think it was 100mg aday. I was taking about 4 pills a day. And nothing. I noticed when I didn't take it around the usual time,my body was actually craving it. I had no mental addiction to it,but my legs would get really stiff and spasms were really bad. After speaking to my dr about it she said i could be risking organ failure buy the amount i was talking. So i said fuck it and quit it.

You can move your feet and toes right? Why you can't walk still?
@MRreptile135 жыл бұрын
I have a little movement in my left leg. But idk. Spinal cord injuries are complex. No telling if I'll ever get more movement. But I honestly don't really want to walk again. I do more with my chair than I did walking. So I'm good how I am.
@evercisneros275 жыл бұрын
Really? You don't want to walk again? I understand you, isn't necessary to walk, you're well in your wheelchair, but if you show us your feet will be amazing for us
