Template Structure for preference questions:
Intro - ‘[topic name] is a widely discussed topic with many different [functions/features]’
My opinion with student opinion- ‘Like [Student A], I believe that/I support the idea... because it is helping...’
Example ‘An example of this is...’
Example elaboration ‘This shows that...’
Conclusion - ‘Therefore... even though I think [student B] makes a good point, I more strongly agree with [Student A] in supporting this topic’
Template Structure for open ended questions:
Intro with opinions - ‘Whilst I agree with Students 1 and 2 that [idea 1] and [idea 2] are [good/important], I personally believe that [our own idea] is the [best/most important] because [reason]’
Example - ‘A great example is [our own idea] helped me/someone achieve [result]’
Example elaboration - ‘This technology/idea enabled progress in [field/industry] and created this [result] '
Conclusion - ‘I believe that [our own idea] should [function] for [people/industry/field] and as my example shows, it has done exactly that’
