This is a great cartoon, mad doctors, robots, and wrestling! And what a robot, it was such a great robot, clunky but with a lever for just about anything. Scrappy's clean character design is one of the best there is, it's too bad he ended up, after 80 some starring roles in the secondhand bin. The few toons I have seen have some great cartooning. I think Osamu Tezuka, who was very influnenced by American cartoons, may have adapted Scrappy, with is big eyes and distinctive hairdo, eg Astroboy.

Back in those days, they did not do much voice acting. But there is sound!
