to pull the wire tip out you can use the ink tube of a (BIC) ballpoint pen. It works!

Glad to see the RIGHT way to do Molex crimping, insertion and even extraction! Any links to the pliers and the extraction pin shown? Have a Printrbot Play with a cheap Molex adapter that has the ground wire touching the reset pin on the ICSP causing havoc with my Cura Print with USB connection!

Hi, you know If I can use molex 46992-0610 6pin or be this better 45559-0002 6pin, and 46992-0210 2pin for gpu 8 pin? Crimp Terminals best 45750 or 5556 plus awg 16. Thank you!

Hi, i need to know, my video card needs 2 PCI-E(6pin), my power supply doesnt have those, but have 2 Molex females, but I have 2 PCI-E(6pin) Adaptors, which each one have the Pci on 1 side and 2 molex males on the other side, so, can i use them ? But just connecting 1 molex from each adaptor to the separate molexs on the PSupply?? Connecting later both PCI to the video card ? Just need to know if can leave alone those 2 molex remaning without connection ? Thanks

I was trying to find out which of the two mating connectors the pins go in and which the barrels go in. If it doesn't matter, I would like to have heard that too. Will have to look elsewhere.

The (male) pins and the (female) barrels can go in either the (male) plug connector or the (female ) receptacle connector. You can even mix them to make different polarized sets that can't easily be connected to the wrong mates. When Radio Shack sold them, they packaged the male plug with the female barrels, and the female receptacle with the male pins.

Sir could you tell me the proper tool to crimp D-Sub Contacts FEMALE REAR CRIMP (open barrel pins), the part number of pins is L17RRD2F01100, wire size to crimp is 24AWG PTFE wire

@Ben Silva Is it really more satisfying not to have the best crimp???? For the best crimp you need the right tool. Period. There is no satisfaction in being to cheap to buy the right tools.

+PixelFlames I just bought undercabinet lights made last year and it has these connectors. I have to make my own connecting wires with normal 12 ga. extension cord (spanning 6 feet or so) because the extension cables they give you are only 6"
