Its only the Peak of longhorns...and probably of your lifespan. It didn't even get really really interesting x and o wise yet till 2010's. But Football always 'sucks nowadays' to sad old fans. Who seldom understand Xs and Os.

Big 12 was absolutely stacked, especially the 2008 year, Texas, OU, Mizzou, OSU, Tech, KU, Nebraska, Colorado

@@poodook comment makes no sense. you don’t have to play what if. 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, maybe 2007, 20008, 2009 Texas would have been in the Playoffs based on their rankings.

2008 was a great year. If the llayoff occurred back then you would have florida vs texas and oklahoma vs usc. I think usc would have won it but it would have been a great playoff.alabama and penn state would have had a case too
