Wal-Mart is also pulling out of Portland Oregon, Chicago, and Milwaukee. The crime rates have skyrocketed and the shoplifting is out of control.

Reduced criminal penalties were supposed to help the black community by reducing the rate of black incarceration. Even though we ALL knew it would only increase criminality. The public was forced to capitulate out of fear over being accused of racism. Racial and social justice is a ruse to enact and support intentionally destructive ideology and policy. And who is going to fight racial justice ?

I live in a Republican area where shoplifting and crime is delt with promptly, thanks to this there are 4 walmarts in a 8 mile area and more grocery stores than I can count including a new Aldi that just opened. No burned out bandos, no broke out windows etc, you get what you vote for.

I learned really quick to not trust the website. Prices and availability are different there than the actual store location. Peanut butter crackers are what I stack for work snack: website claims aisle number and full stock, though I was just there and only thing there was a humongous gap on shelf. Needed an oil filter for one of my cars. Site claimed six in stock, I went in to see that particular one... almost clean out. After going elbow deep I managed to find one by a stroke of luck. Purchase online and save the car fare.

Wal-Mart doesn't owe all sorts of explanations as to why they are closing. Business's come and go all the time. If these city "leaders" are too stupid to figure it out, that's their problem.

crime is half the problem other half is most sales are done online for the convenience and, guess less hassles of trying to find exactly what someone is wanting. If anyone noticed even Walmart online sales outdo their brick-and-mortar sales, less tax paid less insurance paid, less labor costs, it is a win win for Walmart, and if these cities and towns really wanted the brick and mortars for their constituent's convenience, they would have more public safety and tax incentives to help the brick-and-mortar businesses stay afloat. Brick and mortar retail will go the same way the telegraph did

Now that 'Pandemic' food stamps have been cut, and they get away with stealing, I believe we are in for a rise in retail theft in the next few months. The stores can either put up with it or close. Look at the communities though where the stealing is occurring. That says it all.

Wake up black people every company has a bottom line on what they think is profitable that outweighs the liability, and in those neighborhoods, the amount of theft conduct and behavior that takes place in the stores and the lawsuits that Walmart has to settle on behalf of the situation and black communities, and the fact that they were loaded in the amount of crime prevention, individuals, that they have to employee in those supermarkets it’s just not worth worth it the sad thing is the great lack of appreciation that they employed most of the people in those communities to develop a relationship and brought the low prices as you heard from your own people, so what you got as what he deserved
