Online delivery is only free if it's "delivered by Walmart", grocery delivery assumes tips

What about ordering frozen foods? Ice cream for example, Are they going to pull it an hour or two before they give it to the driver and then I end up with melted ice cream? How does that work?

I haven't been able to find anything one way or the other on this, but does the free shipping include international shipping?

To me I don't think it is worth it. I don't live near a gas station, the whole point of this is to avoid going to the store so scan and go doesn't really help, plus you have to tip the driver with delivery. Plus you must order 35 bucks or more for it to be free. I am still on the fence, am I missing something here?

Got the in home delivery add-on to the Walmart+ membership. No fees or tips. I have them just leave groceries on doorstep or inside my front door. The extra $40 annually for the add-on paid for itself in 4 deliveries. Using the Cap One Walmart card with 5% cash back on anything purchased within the app, including the membership fees. YMMV but it's been great for me

Thanks for this video. This video makes me wonder why I even shop there. Walmart plus is not a great value for me. Sure the gas benefit is nice but the traffic congestion and long waits to get to a pump are not worth it to me on a regular basis

I don’t think you still have to go through the checkouts I think you just go out the door. I have both Walmart and Sams and you just head for the door when done and they see your recipe at the door greeter

You forgot the tip charged for every delivery.

There are 23 States that DO NOT HONOR the Walmart Plus 10 cent fuel discount. Only the Walmart Plus 5 cent fuel discount. I was told by Walmart Corp., that only Exon in these states will honor the 10 cent fuel discount. Will let you know when we visit an exon station.

Hello Walmart I've been doing business with you since you open doors today I had a delemma was going to drs I went to Sam's club and when I came out my batteries was low the boys at sam's gave me a jump so I could go to your store to purchase one i asked the fella at the cash register if they carried the brand cause I believe it had warranty, apparently I ended buying battery then I asked if I could borrow a wrench to install battery he said they had none. check it out a big f--king company and I've been a customer for years and told me theyi was couldn't help I'm not sure if I was pre- judged or what, there were so many options to help remedy my situation in the parking lot but there customer service sucks I think if I purchased an item for $179.00 you'd think he could have loaned me a pair of pliers was later to drs lost my appointment spot so I didn't have a choice but to purchase plyers to get me out of the hell hole they call Walmart on bell road in surprise az. Walmart claims it waves a $7.95 plus fee for grocery delivery 🚚 when infact Walmart doesn't actually "deliver groceries" - they subcontract that out through the"sparks app" to anyone with the means to deliver the groceries and a smartphone (in one case it was a single mom smoking a cigarette with three toddlers in the back seat of an un-air-condition 🚗 car in the parking lot, in another case it was a convicted felon "on probation" with gang tattoos on his face using his mother's or girlfriend car, in a third case it was a 20 year old college student wearing a bikini and cut off jeans .../urber,lyft food delivery driver side gig..) Walmart also auto charges your "debit card" at the same time you buy groceries with your EBT (food stamp card) for $8.00 fee for plastic bags then gives $7.00 tip (of that amount) to the sparks driver (as an incentive to actually deliver your groceries to your door) . The driver gets your groceries delivered and loaded to his or her car at walmart store parking lot by parking in a spot and calling it in and accepting the order for delivery to your apartment. Mind you a sparks app driver is a "non Walmart employee" ( this way they don't have to pay them wages, benefits, insurance or gas or maintain a fleet of delivery vehicles)... you get notified of that $8.00 charge "after the fact" and have to manually change that amount in an email (you can either decrease the tip amount from $7.00 to 4.00 or increase it to $10.00 or elect to give $0.00. Even if you elect "don't tip" you don't get the $7.00 arbitrary "delivery tip fee" back? So to get groceries actually delivered from Walmart is NOT free (like Walmart claims) - you have to factor in the hidden fee of $8.00 every time, l know this because l use EBT food stamps to buy groceries and get smacked with a debit card fee for $8.00 by Walmart everytime... I wish l could show you the email proving what l say... just watch the charge on your debit card when you place your delivery order and see it reflected on your email confirmation. So it's a misnomer to consider it "free grocery delivery".... 😐
