Here we have the Walmart Scosche 6x9 4 way speakers and we put them to the test ! 😁

The speakers aren’t distorting . It’s the head unit . If it goes to 35 . The head unit will start to distort around 27!-28 .. after that it’s just a clipped signal . If you want them to get loud you should really get a 4 Chanel amp ! Keep the videos coming guys . Let’s see more of the Integra also

Those speakers would sound better if they were sealed off. With the seat out of the vehicle the back wave is basically cancelling the front wave eliminating all the bass those speakers would be capable of. The reason the speakers distort at high volumes is due to the amplifier in the head unit reaching its maximum capability and clipping. Hook up a small two channel amp to them and reinstall the rear seat, see if that makes a difference in the way they sound.

I have mine hooked up to a 1200w @2 ohm 5 channel amp, i have 2 6.5 inch door speakers tuned to 60hz. I have these 6x9's tuned to 40hz and my subwoofer tuned to 27hz. Mine sound great and are quite loud in my single cab pickup

These speakers are great for deck power. Definitely better than the stock speakers. If you're adding an amp, these ARE NOT the ones. If your stock speakers blow, replace with these. They are powered just enough to sound perfect without amplification. ✌🏾

Power them with the Jensen and put the rear seats up. That will make alot of difference than just using the head unit.

Make sure the speakers are correct on negative to positive. But keep in mind that those speakers are just factory replacement speakers.

The distortion comes from ur head unit. Throw tharlt xda92rb back on them and get an xda91rb and 2 of the kicker 10s and throw in there and u will be rockin

try turning the bass down. thats how it distorts. I have -5 on bass on the normal speakers and run 2 12's american bass subwoofers on a 3000 watt amp. doesnt distort my kicker speakers. also if you get tweeters they will be wayy loader bc 6x9's are more for bass in the back. tweeters are what makes the speakers loud 😈

Got it ! Thank you for the information! 😁 they were holding for a bit with +2 bass but then we tried 0 and it worked well almost no distortion!

U guys gota buy smd dd1 meter to see how high u can have your jvc radio to distortion. 35 can be distorted. Ull blow ever speaker. Ur max volume could be at 30. U no wat I'm saying?

If u want a cheap speaker that can handle 200 watts u want ds 18 I have mine amped and there so cheap there easy to replace
