A revised, trimmed, and redubbed review for my first Walt Disney Treasures review video for the colored Mickey Mouse shorts. The audio quality on the
old video was really bad, so I went back and recorded new and revised audio
to make the video less ear grating.

I luckily picked up most of the "Treasures" DVDs back in the day, fantastic purchases!

To answer your question on why they won't rerelease these; Leonard Maltin has said before that he pitched the series to Dick Cook who was the longtime president of The Walt Disney Company and he enthusiastically approved of the Walt Disney Treasures. In 2009 Bob Iger quite suddenly fired Dick Cook and when he left nobody cared about doing anything with the Walt Disney Treasures. Beyond sad and shows how little Iger cares about Disney legacy.

There is some blu ray releases of the old mickey and freinds shorts there is the mickeys christmas carol blu ray with the shorts, plutos, christmas tree,the hockey champ,the art of skiing,corn chips. There is the celebrating mickey blu ray from 2018 for the mouse 90th birthday which has steam boat Willie,the band concert,thru the mirror,mickeys rival,brave little tailor,mickeys trailer,boat builders,tugboat mickey,the little whirlwind,mickeys birthday party,plutos party the simple things and the 2013 short get a horse and last year there were 2 new blu ray with 10 shorts but half of the shorts are on the celebrating mickey blu ray set the new shorts are on ice,mickeys delayed date,Figaro and Frankie,bath day,hiawiann holiday,and mr mouse takes a trip for volume 1. And for volume 2 there Is winter storage,Mr.duck steps out lonesome ghosts,pluto's sweater,pluto and the gopher and on the olafs frozen adventure there is polar trappers and several shorts are as bounsfeatures on disney movie blu rays

It's not part of a big collection, and doesn't warrant it's price for such limited content.

Oh well... at least we have those sets in hd and disney plus but I hope a blu ray set happens for donald ducksn90th birthday

Proof the Iger we know and hate today was the real Iger all along.
