✈️ We're finally on our way! It's time for our TRAVEL DAY vlog to Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida!
Its our first trip as Disney Vacation Club members and we have 2 EPIC hotels coming up on this trip; a week at Animal Kingdom Lodge with Savannah View and then a week at the Grand Floridian Villas with Theme Park View! 🎆 🌳
We are flying with Virgin Atlantic from London Heathrow LHR to Orlando International Airport MCO, we have multiple character dining booked for this trip, we'll be visiting Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studio's, Magic Kingdom & EPCOT Disney theme parks and even have a dolphin day in Clearwater coming too. Plus I get to spend my birthday in the most magical place on earth 🥹
Here's what to expect from this, our trip of a lifetime:
- Storybook Dining at Artists Point, Wilderness Lodge dinner with Snow White, Grumpy, Dopey & the Evil Queen
- Tusker House breakfast with Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Donald Duck & Daisy Duck at Animal Kingdom
- Woody's Round Up Rodeo BBQ at Hollywood Studio's
- T-REX Restaurant at Disney Springs
- Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort for an incredible dining experience (expect tears, this was a very special night)
- Space 220 at EPCOT
- Boma buffet dinner at Animal Kingdom Lodge (EPIC!)
- Sanaa dinner at Animal Kingdom Lodge (break service!)
All the character meet and greets, all the rides, all the fireworks, all the snacks!
We can't wait to share it with you!

Eeek!!! It’s a bucket list resort for sure, I wasn’t expecting to love it quite as much as we did. I definitely didn’t think the boys would cry leaving there 🙈🤣 hope you enjoyed it lovely! Xx

It was amazing! We all loved it. I’d like to try staying at Kidani Village now to compare but I can’t see it beating Jambo House. Our view from our room was so special too, the boys didn’t want to leave!

It was ours too and now we’ll struggle staying anywhere else I think! It’s beautiful but the animals just make it so magical!

Was just watching your video with the family and we all said the same thing!!! Did that lady just wipe herself between the legs with a towel. Haha. At 28 mins when you are in mara. Lol. We can't unsee it now haha. Great video though ❤

I’ve heard really good things about Virgin Holidays! Definitely worth checking around for price comparisons, we usually book each part of the trip ourselves as it seems to save. For us we always use airmiles which saves a bunch! But I’ve used travel agents to book the Disney hotels and park tickets before. I made a video actually on how to save thousands with a Disney World trip you might enjoy! I’ll share it below. What a truly terrific video really conveys the joy from a travel day to Disney. We always stay at the Premier Inn Bath Road b4 a journey. We have been to AKL twice, once when our son was 3 and once when he was 6. We haven’t been back since but are going in 2 weeks to stay at Coronado and Boardwalk for a week each. Can I ask when you visited we were intrigued as to what time of year this was …just recently or back around March/April?

Thank you so much! So glad you enjoyed it 😍 That premier inn I would say is the easiest one we’ve stayed at before a trip, we’ll probably just stick with that same set up on the future! Both those hotels are on our list, have you stayed at them before? We flew on 17th May 😍✈️

It really is a great hotel for its price and location including things like the view of the planes landing out the back. As for CS and BW…No this is our first time at these two. Have been going to Orlando since 1987 but have only stayed at Disney the last 3 trips…PO Riverside 2005, AKL 2012 and AKL 2015. As our son is nearly 16 and the animals won’t quite have the same appeal as they did we figured we’d try a couple of different places this time around. Very excited about them both given all the positive things I’ve read on them

@indy13 Port Orleans Riverside was our first Disney World hotel too! We stayed there last year (full vlog series is on the channel 😊) and loved it. We’d always stayed in villas before, but since last years trip we’re absolute converts and ending up buying our first DVC contract! I’ve heard such good things about Coronado Springs, we want to stay at Boardwalk too as location looks amazing, plus walking distance to the Skyliner! We really missed the Skyliner funnily enough this trip! X

Hi, a great and informative video as always. Can I ask something about the rental car with Alamo please. I'm looking to rent a car over there for our own holiday and notice that they are offering a sat nav add on for £184.00, Is there not an already inbuilt say nav system in the car already ? Thanks

Thank you so much! I’m not sure if I’m honest, the car we had was Apple CarPlay enabled so we just used the sat nav map on our phone, we did both buy eSim’s for when we were over there, it was unlimited data and only cost about $10 each! We definitely found that worked for us x

They were fab! I was so surprised the boys actually pulled them themselves, they did really well with them! They were from Dunelm, quite recently too, I think I bought them over Easter? Thanks so much for watching, I hope you enjoyed it 🥰
