Join me and my husband Alex where we spend 2 nights in Walt Disney World followed by a 4 night Bahamas cruise on Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas!
We spend the morning at Magic Kingdom, taking advantage of early entry for resort guests. Crowds are pretty low this early in the day so we manage to get on a few rides before needing to use Genie+. Halfway through the morning, we are delighted to see the Thunderbirds fly over the castle - a spectacular display by the US Airforce in honour of National Veterans & Military Families month. Just before we leave for lunch, our boarding group is called and we ride the much anticipated TRON roller coaster. Taking the boat over to the Grand Floridian resort, we enjoy a delightful lunch at Gasparilla Island Grill. Then it's back to Disney Springs to pick up our car rental. After a short nap, we head to the Contemporary resort for dinner at Steakhouse 71. We return to Magic Kingdom and claim the perfect spot for Happily Ever After fireworks. We end the night with a few more rides before the park closes. Enjoy!
