We're off to Epcot in Walt Disney World for a look at the Festival of the Holidays, a tour of the World Showcase, some classic attractions and a look at some of the new additions to the park.
I'm Adam Hattan, a family-friendly theme park and vacation vlogger from the United Kingdom who often vlogs the magic of Disney Parks. I love going to Walt Disney World with my friend Gary C and I'm excited to be sharing this holiday vlog series with you!

We start out our Moooorning at the Art of Animation quick service, with me picking up some pasteries and filling up our resort mugs. From there, we board the Disney Skyliner at the Art of Animation & Pop Century station. We change at the Caribbean Beach station, to carry-on to Epcot's International Gateway.
At Epcot, we enjoy some of the Christmas decorations, the 50th Anniversary statues, the new Epcot welcome fountain/flags, as well as the jolly Christmas music. Other new additions include a look at the new Creations Shop replacing Mouse Gear and the newly relocated Club Cool.
Around the World Showcase we ride Frozen Ever After and The Three Cabreros, as well as dine in Via Napoli in the Italian Pavilion. We visit some of the merchandise stores in Italy, Germany and Mexico and give our first impressions of the Harmonius barges. Additionally at Epcot, we ride Living with the Land, Test Track and the NEW Remy's Ratatouille Adventure in the expanded France pavilion.
After Epcot, we take the Disney Skyliner over to Disney's Riviera Resort for a look around the lobby, the shop and to possibly dine at Primo Piatto. Ultimately, we end up making our way back to the resort for dinner at the Art of Animation quick service. Back at the resort, we share our thoughts on the modified housekeeping services before turning in for the night.

I would have to get sheets from housekeeping to change them myself. At least every other day. 10 days with no linen change is ridiculous when it costs so much to stay. Otherwise, loved the vlog, thanks.

We love the riviera and ease to Epcot❤️ Yes…Disney is totally taking advantage of the situation for less service for more money. If it wasn’t money they would offer other perks or discounts for lack of service.

Geepers, I missed that tea pot decoration completely. whoa, $50 for the pizza, that's a bit out of budget but sooo good! Boy, Gary does not hold back on merch reviews - tacky 😂 OMG, Adam tricking Gary into trying that plum drink was hysterical!! @@josemedina5450 Yeah, the Dining Plan is part of the problem. It forced all the restaurants on property to make their menu conform to the Dining Plan price points.

Story!! You said you associate yourself with Meeko, and I need to share this now. My first Disney trip wasn’t until I was 26 (because we were broke), BUT my aunt and her family went regularly. Later in my grandma’s life, they started taking her as well, and she would bring back little gifts for all dozen of her grandkids. Once, before one of the trips, she asked me who my favorite Disney character was, so she could get me a gift. I excitedly told her it was Meeko. This was easily five or so years after Pocahontas had come out. Just long enough to be sidetracked by other films but before it was a full blown nostalgia classic. Needless to say, Meeko was not prevalent in the parks at that time. I didn’t know this, though, because my grandma dutifully brought me back a Meeko pin, and I was thrilled. Years later, a while after grandma was no longer with us, my aunt let me know how determined she had been to find me anything with Meeko. They scoured the gift shops, but my grandma would not let it go until they finally found that pin. My aunt also still to this day sends me a photo any time they run into Meeko at a character meet, as he reminds her of both her mom and me. There’s a lot of languages of love, and both “determined to find your granddaughter’s favorite character” and “determined to push your mother in a wheelchair all over Disney World to find your niece’s favorite character” are very unique and special, and I am so grateful for both of them.

We’ve stayed at Riviera twice since reopening, and I adore it. Such a nice break from the parks, and if you get to the skyliner early they open the Epcot line early for riviera so you don’t have to wait for empty cars. As far as the housekeeping, they won’t touch your sheets and it annoys me to death. I’ve been 7 times since reopening and it’s still the one thing that irks me.

As someone who is currently isolating with covid I caught at work (I’m going to spend Christmas home alone) I totally understand why they’re reducing the time they spend in rooms. It spread like wildfire at my work and it’s really impacted on resourcing. Granted, it would have been better if they’d been up front about it. Love your videos. They’re going to get me through the next 10 days! x

Thank you for explaining your experience throughout the day, especially when that line felt claustrophobic. I never had an anxiety attack until I went on the finding Nemo ride in Disneyland, ever since then the lines in Disney has never been the same for me. I can't believe it's been 30 years since I was at Disney World! I was there at this time of year, when the park was 'Celebrating 20 Magical Years' - still have the hard cover souvenir book. I've been many times to Disneyland in California including 2 New Years Eve nights and also have the hard cover books from the The First Quarter Century and The First Thirty Years - Tokyo Disney when it first opened.. My all time favorite place? over at the old 'Bear Country' - under the wooden railway bridge with it's North Woods pine forest at Christmas, beautiful big red velvet bows everywhere, and the smell of the big pines was intoxicating.. I remember it all. Disney really is Magical! 🏰🎄💗Thanks for all the vlogs! 🦘

@@adamhattanI stayed at SHADES OF GREEN as a Kid. It's a Hotel for MILITARY MEMBERS/FAMILIES. Its close to the Polynesian. Not run by Disney.

I agree with you about the Mousekeeping. It was so hot when we were there 12.4-10 and though we did take a rinse off before bed we didn’t like the sheets not being changed and they brought in towels and set them on the back of the toilet! Nasty. One of the perks staying on site is coming back to a nice clean room. The fine print is way too fine that details the cleaning ( or non cleaning) policy!

Went in 2019 to Art of Animation. They were trialling no mouse keeping then, we got some money back for selecting it, and they basically left our room alone, with a linen change half way through our 14 day stay. They would do it whenever we wanted though. Not surprised they are now doing something similar as standard… agree it’s a bit much, when you’re spending so much to be there!

Love Via Napoli one of our must do restaurants when at epcot. We always get the back room viewing the plaza. So happy to see the two of enjoying yourselves. Gary doing the Liza Minelli wonderful

I’ve had my dvc since 2003 (Saratoga springs is our home resort) and it’s the best decision we’ve made. We have stayed at a lot of the resorts! We were supposed to stay at Riviera and grand Floridian last September but unfortunately we couldn’t get into the country! We used to come twice a year before we retired now it’s just once ! I love the Art of Animation, we stayed there but staying in Pop Century next September another favourite. Can't wait to try the skyliner , looks so much fun. The land took me right back 😊 reminds me of the old Epcot and my first trip there in 92 ! great to see all the new attractions and love your honesty with reviews . Hope the Dvc tour went ok ….. my last trip there in 2018 we got talked into a tour a special half hour …… it ended up 90 mins the sales woman was amazing she could sell anything ….. when you add it all up I don’t think it would suit many people and it’s $$$$$ …. but we did have a nice private car from Disney springs … free refreshments … ice cream afterwards and a $100 gift card each …. So worth the detour 👍😏

Really hoping we can get back next year. I love Test Track but always get the feeling that it’s going so fast that it will never slow down! Definitely a thrill ride! I definitely would want my sheets changed at least once a week - at home I change ours about every 5 days! Just received my second order of Adam Hatton candles and I love them xx

10 days not changing bed sheet will make me crazy, I always change mine once a week even though washing it that often will destroy the sheet faster. tbh, that is not an excuse, disney hotels getting worse and worse after they remove all benefits you can get from staying there. no more free shuttle bus, no 1 hour early entry, no more 60 days fastpass+, and now not changing bed sheets. it is like they are trying to see how far they can get away with cutting costs.

These vlogs just making me so excited for my trip in September! Epcot is my favourite park, and I'm so so so excigted to ride Remy's! Also, I agree completely about mousekeeping! imagine if it was summer and your sheets only got changed once during your stay! grim. They could have at least made the bed even if they didnt change the sheets.
