Why Walter Trout isn't more widely talked about continues to amaze me. I've been lucky enough to see him play a three times in the past few years since his return from his health issues. Truly an amazing, passionate performer. I've seen BB, Buddy, Sonny and many more and I'll put Walter right up there with any of them. For anyone wondering about the blues, listen to Walter to feel what it's really all about.

SO UNDERATED as a entertainer / blues guru ..... I found him by looking for other blues players ....and now he is in my everyday playing list ..... such a small hand full of extremely talented blues players ...

i just love tis guy , since i first saw him with john mayal incl montoya, and later with trout band ( cold cold feeling). an great person , with a amazing wife. love the music...

I'm a bit late to the party, but elated to learn of the new release! Great guy - great player! A lot of blues bores me, lacking in emotion, but not the case with Walter. The attitude and passion transcends through the recording. Love all his stuff! Cheers from Thunder Bay!

Saw Walter for the first time in November last year and he has totally inspired me in many ways. A living legend.

I saw Walter and the Free Radicals one night at BB Kings' in LA in the late '90's and I was hooked.

Down to earth guy that know's how to play the BLUES. Love the music and I'm adding this new and exciting album to my collection.

thank you walter for this-i appreciate some of the lesser recorded and released songs- jimmy dawkins, huh? YES! and as far as BB ,,,,a real mensch-til the end. we lost so many to dope and booze-but like yourself- there are a flock of phoenixes...i got almost 30 yrs under my belt,,,,,if i can do it...YOU are a powerful example. just got me a t shirt that says lost my mojo if you find it.......didnt know Mayall served in Korea-my father did as well- it took 40 yrs to kill him- i am waiting for your new album(oops-i am showin my age! CD) to get here..its enroute from a small record seller north of MA. and as for you-a humble man,,,how my liver is still healthy is a miracle. to educate your son is the true sign of a damn good father....i TRIED to get my dad to hear the blues-however-he preferred Opera-and i still have some of his collection on cassette-and admittedly-aint nothin wrong with some Pucini-he was into Wagner, which i will never understand however-we all got our tastes.. stay strong as you are. btw- BB's band was as tight as tight can get.. its 2:43 a.m. here in Boston and now i am gonna go in and find me my copy of"live at the regal" ty!
