I just purchased my very first motorcycle. I have been very nervous of laying the bike over. Not for getting hurt, but just for getting discouraged. Not glad to see it happen, but good to know even someone with your experience, it still happens to.

You can avoid it by just slowing down into the turns. He was bookin' it lol. There is always some sort of debris build up especially in the middle of turns like that and if there isn't, act like there is. Mistakes do happen to all of us though. I was in the same situation when i first got my harley and dumped it in the grass trying to weave in between evergreens lol. Lesson learned. Mine could of been avoided from not being an idiot. This scenario could be different because sand and gravel could just sneak up on ya regardless.

I used to watch you and you were a huge reason why I started riding. I was probably 14 when i started watching you now im 22 with my second motorcycle and a total of 65,000 miles put on the street between my two bikes. I even work at a motorcycle dealer now haha

Trail braking with the front brake on gravel is a skill you will get better at as you ride off road more. Sorry about the spill, but at least you are basically OK. Oh, and elbow and knee pads work great with dirt gear.
