I think this IDPA series needs a refresh/update I believe there is now CO=Carry Optics division and PCC=Pistol Caliber Carbine divisions now and possibly other changes I'm not aware of.

Hi Walter, enjoying your series. I don't know much about the sport but you mentioned you would be at a disadvantage if you use a PPQ or Shield as opposed to a Glock 34. Is it because of the sight radius difference?

That and because recoil control is much easier with big, heavier guns.

Not sure what PPQ you're referring to by the PPQ Q5 MATCH shoots a lot better than a Glock 34.

in stock service pistol can you have alternate sights to factory sights? i have a cz-sp01. stock internally but has all black target sights and vz grips. or would this have put me in esp?

You can change sights, do some trigger work, change springs and things like that and still stay in SSP.

soo many questions un answered. can i use a red dot in ESP? why the fuck are the round counts soo low? m17 comes standard with a 21 round mag, why cant i use that?

Firstly, this isn't hate mail... But, back in the day.. 1968... I did not have the money to buy a pistol that could out shoot my Colt Python. . Does anyone make one now? And would I have to sell my house or wife to get one.? As always. . thanks for the great job. ..

A good friend of mine has a Colt Python. I used to joke that I'd kill him for that gun. He put me in his will and said after he died I could have any gun he owns...except for the Python!

He keeps mentioning Glocks. I live in Massachusetts, you're not going to find any Glocks in the competitions. They are illegal here. Unless you happened to own a really old one that were grandfathered.

Glocks are not illegal to own here in MA provided you comply with the mag capacity laws. They are even on the approved list! Maura Healey has just decided that they are illegal to sell "retail." There are at least a couple legal ways to get a Glock here, so if you'd like to compete with one, it's possible.
