I FINALLY (after a 3 years of wait already?🤔)got myself one. Bought second hand, for a good price, getting two mags, a Ghost holster and over 60 co2 cartridges along.. Definitely a good buy. I of course did a total disassembly of everything to begin with. Which was a good thing, due finding 3 stuck pellets within the barrel. I guess the previous owner shot until the co2 ran out totally..😂 After running thru 3 mags worth of pellets, it left me though with a good amount of co2 still to bleed out from the mag, after eventually being on the range with it. No idea of the original stiff trigger thing, as mine was used when bought, and due all being apart I worked n polished all internal surfaces really smooth. The belt and trigger works very well. The trigger reset is long, as the mechanics require it to be so, but it is just a fantastic shooter imo. The barrel did have a slight wiggle to it when I got it. No idea why, or does it occur on all of these, but I fixed that wiggle also while being at it. The previous owner was an active action/practical shooter, who switched over to the real steel version - but still the belts on both of the magazines seemed to me still to be in very good shape (can but wonder, due hearing stories already of poor belts on these🤔). Woulda wanted a Q5 Match, but this deal was just too good to pass by.. Still no regrets. Hope it stays that way also...

I have the training .43 paintball version of the Walther ppq. No pun intended, is a blast to shoot. It shoots around 450/500 fps. I know, very hot. But as mentioned, is intended for training. It has an 8 round magazine. You can shoot either .43 caliber paintball, hard rubber rounds, powder rounds, or steel rounds. The fps will vary depending on projectile weight.

Make the reviews be in mono instead of stereo, as the sound currently and in many videos keeps shifting from left to right. Seems to be just the 'studio' segments. There are two issues with mine (and I've seen others have the same problem so it's not just me). There's a bit of play between the slide and the frame towards the front so there's a slight rattle. The spring that returns the slide is too weak which lowers the lifespan of the gun. Hopefully they'll fix that in the future if they haven't already. It's unfortunate because everything else on this gun is great.

Thanks for the review. I bought this product. Maybe it is my exemplary problem, but belt with pellets are not easily rotating. I have to apply high pressure to trigger to rotate belt, there is no "wall" as a result. So I understand that it is not target gun, but in my SigSauer M17 it works significantly better. I like umarex try to create something innovative, but this technology is not yet good enough.

Great review as always. One thing that does bother me with this though is the location of the co2 and seems to be the case with many co2 pistols. The location of the co2 in the magazine. I'd like it if it was more like the gamo pt85 set up, can change magazines quickly whilst leaving the co2 canister in the gun. At least if you have spare magazines then it will give you the full feel of operating a pistol the way it should be 👍
@loc4725
@loc4725 3 жыл бұрын
The advantage with it being in the mag is that after shooting you can swap the now very cold mag for a warmer one; a significant advantage given CO2 performs best when warm. Also the magazines on this are metal, so provide a good chunk of thermal mass, slowing the cooling.

Good review as usual. I like the CO2 in the mag (swap mags for a warm CO2 bulb) but it is a bit of a shame the slide doesn't lock back after the last shot like on the PPK. But I guess you can't have everything. One thing I'd thought I'd mention though, on older / western style SAO revolvers which do not have the swing out cylinder the "loading port" is usually known as the "gate" or "loading gate". Just thought I'd point that out.😏

I've only got a couple blowback CO2 pistols, both are versions of my carry guns. I've modified the PPQ for greater blowback force. It uses one CO2 cylinder per magazine now, but does increase the realism noticeably. I also installed a stronger recoil spring.

Hi, I believe there are two versions of this gun out there. You mentioned that your gun has a 21 round belt. While others say they have have a 20 round belt. Pyramid stays in their description it has a 20 round belt. I've seen videos on KZfaq that states its a 21 round belt as you do. What I have notice is the guns with the 21 round belts have yellow markings on their barrel sites and the 20 round belt guns have white markings on their site barrels. I also notice the markings are different. On the 20 round guns there is only the Walther marking on the slide..but the 21 round guns have the Walther marking along with the 9mm x 19 marking as well. So I see two different guns advertised. I believe one is sold in a certain market area and the other in the USA.

The "CZ 75 P- 07 9 ×19 DUTY" bb gun locks open on the last round, great gun, very nicely made, nice weight, balances well in your hand, and shoots like a dream, and the grips, absolutely phenomenal, the gun in my opinion is so good I bought 2 of them, I carry one for a less lethal option to my other gun, it's definitely a beautiful replica! Spot on. If you ever get a second, check this beauty out, I don't think you're going to regret it, it looks like you're staring down the barrel of a 9 mm, the barrel for the BB is reased, BADASS, why I got it, looks absolutely real, and scary. BB guns and pellet guns are entirely different. This one is a pellet gun. I have yet to see a pellet gun that can lock open after the last shot. The reason is in the feeding mechanism. Steel BBs are hard and therefore can be stacked in the magazines and fed like bullets of the real guns. The lock open function is enabled through a tab in the magazine follower. Pellets are made of soft lead and is hollow. They cannot be fed by the magazine follower because they will be crashed by the power of follower spring. Thus currently all pellet guns operate like DA revolvers. Previously they are put in round 8 round magazines which operates exactly the same as revolvers. The current belt feed system works on identical principles, just roaring a belt as opposed to a disk. As you can see as there are no magazine follower, there is no lock open. Also it is the trigger pull that rotates the disk/belt, not the slide. All pellet guns are therefore revolvers in disguise. The blowback feature is entirely for show, it has no real function. Why people prefer pellets over BBs? Because pellets are inherently more accurate and are less likely to rebound when hitting hard targets. Many clubs do not allow BBs.

Hello there, I came across with your channel few days ago and I find it very informative. So based on your knowledge (without knowing if you ever had a chance to use it though) I'd like your opinion on how this is worth to replace my good old Anics Skif A-3000. Could we actually compare A3000 with PPQ M2? A3000 has 28 mag while M2 has 21. A3000 can use pellets or bbs (with some good loading attention) but I don't know if M2 can also use bbs... Sights are adjustable vertical and horizontal for A3000 but only horizontal for M2. I love the way Umarex combined both pellet and CO2 cartridge in one magazine and the loading system of "chain" mag seems to be almost identical with the pellet loading system of old A3000. However, the A3000 needs a tool to move the magazine to fully load it, the M2 just needs a thumb. PPQ M2 after some use it's said the blowback slide release lever gets a bit loose and it may jam if your thumb is too close to it. Is that true? And the recoil spring does it really fail? Did you come up with some issues?

Reading more, its for guns shipped before Sept 2018 so presumably could only be a problem if bought 2nd hand

For God's sake Andy! It's okay doing a review on ultra light pellets, but what's the power output of your usual pellets?

I have this model and find a lot of "misfires" after shooting. 21 pulls of the trigger does not equal 21 pellets expelled 🤷‍♂️

I hate when airgun makers don’t make a full blow back slide and only make it move a bit and sell it for so much more than non blowback just make it non blow back or full blow back

Good morning Andy, this is a fabulous pistol. Some great features, that adds to its appeal. I've just got one gripe ?. The loading of pellets is going to be slow. Iam just been picky. Yes i would buy this pistol. Great Review Andy, lots of great info. Thank you for your hard work. Take care. Best regards Simon from York England 🇬🇧

Good morning Simon , I have had the pistol from launch here in UK and in regard to the loading it actually becomes pretty smooth and quick once you have a technic in place, if you pick one up I am sure you will be very happy with it. I added a good quality case and X300 weapon light to mine👍🏻

Belt fed machineguns were often referred to as chain guns because of the link systems used for the belts and possibly even goes back to the very early Renascence 'machineguns' which were called chain guns which were small black powder canons held together in parallel and connected by a single troff of black powder acting as a fuse for all the canons creating a 'chain reaction'. These are even thought to have been used in the Middle Ages in Asia and later in Europe.
