@@ab-wj8yg The only retcon was Pietro's words that they were having dinner when the bomb hit their family. Which could be explained easily. Perhaps Wanda unconsciously altered his memory back then. Or he was too traumatic to remember the details. Even Wanda seemed to have forgotten it.

simply adding things into what were empty spaces in information previously is NOT "retconning". It seems obvious Feige intentionally left as many details of Wanda's evolution back in AoU fuzzy as possible with the consideration they'd likely have the X-Men rights back within a few years.

That Vision of Wanda instantly reminded me of the Phoenix Force. The Scarlet Witch might be some kind of cosmic entity that possesses or feeds its hosts, hosts capable enough to contain that kind of power.

How does pietro survive the experiments? Literally seen nothing on this but if it's implied that Wanda's magic that controlled the stone, how did pietro get his super speed? We haven't had the mutant/x-gene reveal yet so what was quicksilver? Does he have magic too in the mcu? I can't work it out ahhhh. I completely agree with Erik's theory, it's been my theory that the snaps will put radiation into latent mutant genes to give them powers but as it stands, QS's power origin is completely unexplained since this retcon for Wanda.

I think you're right with the mutant gene thing -- hopefully they'll touch on it in Ep 9. If they do, I have a feeling that part of the mutant gene reveal will come Evan Peters "Fietro" himself.

Infinity stone radiation isn't the first time radiation has always applied to Mutant theory. Starting nuclear war was Sebastian Shaw's entire purpose in x-men First Class, to start a mutant evolution from nuclear fallout :o

Literally been in rewatch mode of the mcu up to date. And Age of Ultron/Civil War were next in order, which lined up perfectly with fridays episode. There was even a point where I couldn't remember if Vision going into Wanda's room for the first time was from Wandavision or the movies lol.

Its hard for me to really get excited for the finale. I just feel like there are way too many questions to answer in an episode with a 50 minute runtime (which includes intro and credits). I feel like a lot of people, including myself, are going to be disappointed. Episodes 8 and 9 should have both been an hour.

The x-ray wasn’t blank, it was overexposed (by too much emitted EMR, specifically x-rays). Just a minor point, but I’ma keep saying it every time you say it was blank! 😉
