When this series was out I was 12 years old and absolutely obsessed, I'm almost 18 and I never realised the huge part it played in my childhood.. it feels like the series is finally getting more recognition and I'm absolutely all for it ♡ #saveWOY (I know its slim chances at this point but the creators are hopeful too so I'll help keep it going )

Favourite episode for me is "The giftening". The first half being a homage to old horror tropes and the latter half being a homage to old Tex Avery chase sequences. Complete with exagerated faces of terror as a do-gooder protagonist seemingly teleports to wherever the antagonist went. But that is what was so great about the series. It showed a LOT of reverence to the classics, mixing everything from Tex Avery to Looney-Tunes with the occasional old pop-culture reference only adults would get.
