I'd be satisfied with a ''minecraft-like game'' in a fallout world but the game even fails at that.

Im level 30 and have invested several hours into it. Grom my experience id say dont get it. It is lacking in content and has frustrating bugs/spawns. The only reason why ive played it for that long is cause of friends. Friends make the game enjoyable but even then it feels empty. 4/10 game

I guess the launcher for PC sucks, and was buggy for people. But I have it on console. I think alot of the claims are really unfounded. It's a really beautiful game, and the combat has been expanded upon. It just lacks substance beyond exploration and creation.

It’s actually a lot of fun. As a person who lives for lore, finding out what happened to survivors via holotapes and terminals was awesome, almost feels like it’s not that there are no NPC’s, but they didn’t survive long enough for you to meet them.

depends on what part of the world you're in, all the areas around the vault were largely shielded from the direct blasts, probably due to geography, and seem to have decayed mostly due to natural processes, however a lot of the further out areas in the game look more like the nuclear war-ravaged landscapes you'd expect.

@@sachigame924 yeah, adding on to what you said, the Appalachian mountains and not being a direct hit during the 2 hour bombing is why. The mountains protect the area in surrounds like a shield. Which is also why West Virgina doesn't have radstorms like Boston.

@@BluesGold. because of the running clock I think it's actually 2102 now. Yesterday when I was playing it was October, I don't remember if the year was 2101 or 2102, I'm assuming 2102. I'm actually super interested to see what they plan to do with the running clock. In 8 years our time, the Fallout 76 clock will start to match up with the other Fallout games. It'll be really interesting to see if the game gradually starts to look different with permanent settlements and NPCs being added because that's how the West Virginia area would change over that time too. Edit: yes, its October of 2102 in game and will be 2103 in a few days

Most of the people saying that haven't even played the game, if you like the gameplay of fallout 4 and you like to explore and read terminals than you should get it. If you are worried about bugs I would give it a little time but it's not that bad. Mostly just some problems with the scorched enemies.

It's already on sale for $30 last I checked. If you enjoyed Fallout for the story, I wouldn't play. If you enjoyed Fallout for enemy variety, I wouldn't play. If you hated treasuremaps, audiologs, or radio transmissions to complete a quest, I wouldn't play.

Really fun if you don’t mind a little reading, especially with friends. Give the game some time though if your on the fence.

JabbaWabba it’s not hate. It’s disappointment in what should have been a great game and instead is slightly more than a copy and paste job of previously used assets. Bethesda could have done more and for 60$ should have done more. That’s where my anger and disappointment comes from.

If you have legitimate complaints about this game, I respect that. We are all our own individual people and we all have our own individual opinion and at the end of the day we are the only ones that have to be entertained by the game. No one else can play the game and be entertained for you. However, put yourself in the shoes of someone who likes this game and has made comments on many videos about how they like this game. You aren't adding anything new to the discussion, you are talking at people, and you aren't looking at what's actually happening with the trolls in the community. Imagine being bombarded with hate comments and then also having people with legitimate criticisms talk at you instead of to you. There are plenty of people that do not like this game that you can have logical discussions with, they are just few and far between.
