I'm so glad you curtailed your cross country biking. You are so much more relaxed and so am I. Watching you on the side of the highway was no fun and nail biting for me too. The views you are capturing now are beyond spectacular. I am really loving being taken along for the "ride." Safe travels! 🤗

Had an elderly customer that grew up near the park. Actually stopped going out (from here in Ohio) in her 80s bc she couldn't bear to see so much of the actual glaciers are missing from climate change. So have you compared your views with photos from few decades or several decades ago? What an incredible gift you're seeing what is left despite the melt.

Hi Ladies, Really enjoyed seeing Glacier Nat'l Park and the beautiful views on your hikes. The snow on the mountains, the waterfalls, lakes, and general beauty all around. I must admit, the grizzly tracks would freak me out. I think I'd be sticking close to camp. You ladies are fearless! But the beauty is to be seen everywhere. Looking forward to seeing West Glacier on your next one. Take care. You guys are amazing!

Hi! Many years ago I drove a shuttle bus over two summer seasons in Mt McKinley NP (known as Denali these days). Many moose, caribou, wolves and plenty of grizzly. As far as I’m aware grizzly graze grasses and roots, berries, insects. They will catch fish when available but I don’t think they actively hunt to kill moose. Based on your spectacular videos I’ll plan a trip to GNP next summer!! Thanks again for sharing your adventures 💜☮️

Loving your videos! I don't know how to break this to you, but where you stopped at water along the Iceberg trail and called it the lake. It's not. It's just a tarn before the real deal. The lake was where those snowboarders were coming from, and it was all socked in with snow. Hope there's a second chance for you to get there a little later in the season!

Great video of amazing scenery!!! Thanks for sharing. This is "the place" to see grizzlies . Nice to see from a distance. My daughter just finished the Bob Marshall wilderness on the CDT. Said it was the roughest section of trail that she had done . With 6 miles of blowdowns and three hailstorms and on day one they had 15 river crossings. But she is so glad to have finished that part and a grizzly siting too. I have told her about you two and was hoping that she would be able to me you at Many Glacier, but she is now south of there. So enjoying watching you adventures. Blessings and safe hiking.

Our family did this hike 8 years ago mid-July and there were many pieces of broken up ice across the whole lake (Iceberg), this makes me a little sad to see how much it has changed in such a short time, although I'm not surprised. It was a highlight of our trip and it certainly is a lovely hike!

I think this area is prettier than anything I've seen in videos (yours and other thru hikers) of the PCT, including Washington. Just the spaciousness of this park. Up close but goes on forever. Can't wait to see the Western part. I hear a lot of people talk about the Going To The Sun Road and how pretty that area is. Hope you get to bike most of it before they open it to traffic. Hike on, I'm waiting to see more........LOL ! (Mooselet = calf if you didn't see it explained in another comment).

The tall puffy white ones are Beargrass (bears eat them) and the lower red ones are Indian Paintbrush. Not sure if they showed any Mules Ears in this video but they did in some of the other ones when they were biking. Those are like Sunflowers but with a different green leaf. Lots of leaves with the Mules Ears.

The moose reminds me of a camel. I never saw such baby bears before in the wild. Those were the size of teddy bears. I guess they were black bears, you saw a brown bear, and then there were grizzlies. I think with a grizzly you are supposed to play dead because they can fight. The black bear supposedly you can fight off. I wonder if spraying it will just make it madder and more aggressive. The brown bear looked more aggressive than the black ones do. Annette strolls along like she just walked to the corner when it was five miles already. Will the older lady be coming along again? You seem like you are in really good shape. Do you have to eat a lot of calories each day? Do you still walk like 20 miles a day?
@Mtnsunshine2 жыл бұрын
Speaking of bears 🐻, are you carrying bear spray with you? I don’t see any in these videos. Please stay safe out there. 🙏
