Thanks for the support Marian! I agree, the outside reviews are a better overall product but holy f-ing moly... they are grueling to shoot (especially in the hot HK summer). This seems to be a decent middle-ground :)

Nice detailed review that seems pretty unbiased and straight forward. That missing anchor point for the tripod is quite annoying, you could of course create a loop from the single anchor or maybe use the loops on the back strap but neither option seems very good. Perhaps using the top strap as an anchor point for a loop around the tripod head would work best. I would only be using a manfrotto BeFree with video head and that would be flopping around and walking into things without being secured. I expect I would only use the roll top when packing unpacking and for quicker access to the upper compartment I’d probably just open the back. They should have an extra zip at the base of the roll top so you can get in there quickly and easily, especially with only one side access. I’m not sure what I think about the single side access, this bag would be to compliment my lowpro tactal 450 which is too big and serous looking for my everyday needs when I carry ca camera but don’t have specific intentions to use it. With that in mind, it seems like the single access would be fine for my limited camera use but then accessing anything else would be a bit of effort and the “inconvenience checks*” at some store exits would be even more annoying. The irony of the camera dividers being included is that they probably don’t cost that much to manufacture but if they were sold separately they would cost much more but the bag wouldn’t be much cheaper. If you buy the larger bags you need to pay quite a bit more to buy the removable camera cubes, yet I would rarely remove them so they are just taking up extra space within the bag than the 11-lites dividers with no cube. I liked your videos look feel and editing although the skin tones in the studio shots are inconsistent, ranging from a bit too red (maybe that’s your skin) to washed out in the side angle. You should probably try not to rub your nose quite so much (did you have a cold) but the presenting is overall pretty good. Even with jump cuts it’s hard to get the right energy. * they don’t really search the bag, they just go through the motions because they might be accused of profiling if they only search suspected thieves bags. Thus it feels like the bag check is just to make sure I am inconvenienced - I live in Australia.

Been using this bag daily for a week now in the city and also for day hiking (street photog + some nature photog) here are my thoughts: I use a small camera setup (fuji x-t2 + 23mm f2 prime lens) so the size works perfect for me. I had the peak design 20l v2 before but returned it because the folding dividers just didn't hold my gear securely. I like the camera cube compartment on this bag much more. I like the looks (I have the off white color like in this vid), the straps are comfy and work well. It doesn't hold a lot but I already have bigger backpacks and wanted a smaller more minimal bag and this works great for that. I use the quick access quite a bit more than I had expected, it's very easy to just swing it off a shoulder and whip your camera out if you see something you want to get a shot of (I also use a peak design capture camera clip on the strap and that works great as well). The water bottle pocket works well for a bottle but not for a tripod, however I was able to configure the interior pockets to hold my small benro tripod on the opposite side of the bag from the side access and it's pretty easy to grab it from either the back zip compartment or from above using the roll top (you have to unvelcro the very top divider). I even hung the tripod from the tote straps across the front for short distances just to keep it handy. Overall it's a well designed well made stylish straight forward bag. As long as you realize this is a SMALL bag and won't be the best for lots of camera gear, travel gear etc it works really well. It's a bit pricey but most bags in this segment are. The features work well. Best of all it's just a good user experience, I don't think anyone would be dissatisfied with it.

Dudes, so I might be wrong. But that side pocket is not a tripod pocket. You can of course, but I don't think personally that's the intention. So with that said, there are straps which you can place at the bottom of the pack to hold a tripod or whatever, also when I tested this bag I used to put the tripod either on it's back using the provided straps vertically, or between the big main strap and the totem handles ( of course you'd need to use an extra strap). But I personally think they nailed it with the strap solution at the bottom as it makes the most sense to aesthetics rather than what most bags do.....side tripod carry which is very uncomfortable. Thanks for the show you are a great presenter.

14:51 this is EXACTLY why I decided to pick up the prvke lite. The LOOSEY GOOSEY flaps in my PD Everyday Carry 20L. I loved the functionality of the PD but not being able to organize my gear better turned me off. Excited to give this one a try out in the field. Great review!

Nice review as always! This is probably late but as I was watching the overview on Wandrds website the ‘false’ pocket at the bottom of the tech compartment where it’s flat was left intentionally that way because they didn’t want stuff protruding there (if there was an actual pocket) and hitting your camera when the bag is closed.

When I buy a bag, I always ask myself questions like what I have to do to quickly get to a piece of tissue when I really need it such as when I need to clean up the sneezing mess while I am walking on the street or can I still reach one when the bag is hanging in a public washroom...etc You may wish to consider questions like these for the bag you are developing.

Very thorough and well organized. On the debit side -- and I realize I'm probably alone in this -- but it drives me nuts when your editor cuts to frames of your talking to someone who isn't there. Video directors came upon this idea because they believed the host could not carry the entire presentation looking directly into the camera (along with cuts to the product.) This is hardly the case with you, Aaron. If there's anyone out there who's a more dynamic presenter, I haven't come across him!

21l and its easily a very very reliable bag also perfect for every day use. Material is really protective and resilient. No camera gear but expensive headphones and whatnot that needs to be carried around. Laptop, tablet..bunch off cables etc. Although i really dislike how only the lite version has the colour matching inside. All black interior doesn't make things easier finding in the bag. The lite is a awesome thought-out bag although fore the straps felt tiny and i prefer the beefier 21l and 31l dimensions. I added the waistband and colour straps..its awesome and secure! I did add a guardian angel light and clamp on the moles loop since i ride scooter 🛵 a lot. The whole thing is legit

But the PD Sling on a day's walk I think it can cause pain in the back being only on one shoulder... So I ask myself the question between the two... PD Sling or Wandrd Lite?

@@cyrilcornetphoto WANDRD Lite all day. IMO slings are great 5 liters and under, but once you hit 10 liters they get uncomfortable when wearing for extended periods of time.

Great review guys. Did you have any other issues with the quick access pocket? First impressions are its on the wrong side for right handed people who would want the access pocket for their camera on the r/h side. Also wish Wndrd would do a contrast inner lining for the black version of this bag. Black is not a great inner lining colour for locating small items, especially when you get a little older.😊 The roll top could also do with updating - magnets to replace velcro and possibly a fidlock or cobra latch to replace that hook system. Nevertheless I like this bag. I am sure WNDRD have a winner on their hands.

I've been looking at this backpack and you so happen to have a great review about it. By any chance you know the dimensions or laptop size can fit in the laptop compartment? I've been getting mixed answers and I plan on using it to hold a 15.6 inch portable monitor.

@@Nomads.Nation Thanks for replying. So, shortly after I asked this here I reached out to Wandrd themselves with the same question. Apparently, the answer is : No, they do not recommend that a skateboard be mounted on the PRVKE because it will rip up the material.

I think I understand this. I carry, and lash, a tripod to the water bottle pocket of my current 20L backpack. But having that weight on one side tends to make the bag feel unbalanced, especially if the center is not fully loaded. I have also used a smaller bag similar in size to the Prvke Lite, and with the smaller central load, I think side mount of a tripod would feel too imbalanced. And, more importantly…the Lite DOES have an external carry option for a tripod: Use straps with the four bottom lash points for horizontal, balanced tripod carry, which we can all agree is a very popular way to do it across many bags, and probably a better way with this small bag.

It's like listening to a vegan commenting on bacon sandwich. If you are not an every day photographer, and don't like the fact that this bag is aimed at photographers, don't review it. also, the loops under the bag will accommodate a tripod easily. Just buy the straps. I need a bag that does not look like a camera bag and use my gear every day, I'm buying one.
