@@oy9731 getting to know each other's culture and the progress of civilization has occurred for centuries ago.. persia, rome, arabia, mongolia, and so on.. the influence of western culture and technological progress has been very dominant in the last few decades.. and china is currently moving up to take over the leading position.. to achieve that goal, they are trying to catch up.. one of which is by studying and imitating all products and technologies from various countries that they think can bring them benefits.. starting from studying, imitating, then developing.. america, which has been dominant in controlling the world, has stopped cooperation with china because many of their technological secrets have been mastered and imitated by china.. and china's progress will be a threat to the west.. and, didn't I also say that they (china) are currently doing all that, it is not impossible that one day many countries will imitate their steps...

What kind of bs is this? Wang practised in his own style for years and it happens to remind some people of Kevin, and talking about awards he is absolutely doing better than Kevin. And you phrase it as "China copied it". That's how you see the world? Pathetic.

@@yhh3962 even though I don't like Kevin's arrogant nature on the field, but I admit that his skills and way of playing affect the standard of the world's men's doubles badminton game.. being ranked 1 in the world for 5 years (2017-2022) is the longest record for men's doubles badminton.. it will definitely be a concern in the badminton world.. even the Chinese coach and team have admitted that they studied Kevin's playing style, and looking for his weaknesses.. then why don't you accept that fact??? for further skill development, that's another thing.. that's why I said, the beginning is to study, then imitate or copy, and then develop those skills..

Prime Kevin was something else. I don’t think current Wang would get the better of him around the forecourt. Maybe on a couple years when Wangs in his prime.. I think the Chinese success ratio against the indos is largely due to the indos being out of form when they played.

I think prime Liang/Wang would win against prime Gideon/Sukamuljo. Prime Kevin may be faster and have better reflexes, but Wang Chang is no slouch either. Liang Weikeng is significantly more powerful than Marcus Gideon. In addition, Liang/Wang have better positioning on the court, Gideon/Sukamuljo made a lot of unorthodox shots which surprised opponents but often left themselves out of position as well.

You don't know anything about badminton. Maybe delusional fans like yourself are the reason why you hyped up Satchi to get a gold but they ended up not medalling at all.
