The director should have kept the extended ending (deleted scene) where he gives her a handkerchief when she’s crying over him after realizing that it was all real. Fantastic drama. ❤

Loved and will probably watch this drama for many years to come. Most heartbreaking, ofcourse but it is how life goes. Sadly this snapped be back to reality, theres no real romance. Though, I truly loved how he took care of her. Loved that in the end she chose him. Not the ending I wanted, definitely not at all, and had a glimpse hope that they would have met again in "this world". But at least she was his all, that showed him the love he yearned for. Im dead ass crying all over again...sheesh worth the heartbreak though Would have been nice if they portrayed him a great father.

I really hope they will come out with season 2 to this. The ending was so sad, just seeing videos about it after, give me the feeling of my heart being crushed to pieces. I feel so sad for him. And her. The way she broke down (in the future) watching his paintings and found out it was not just a dream, feeling sad that she "left him"..... My god Im starting to tear up even thinking about it. So yes, I hope for a season 2, so I can think of this serie and be happy instead.

2005년와으이 남자 공길광대 이후 11년만에 이준기배우님이 왕역할을 하였는데 너무나도 외롭고 안다깝고 서럽고 외로운 왕이어서 좀 눈물이 났네요. 어머니 의 편애를 원망하면서 울부짖었을 때랑 어머니 사망했을 때 우는 것 그리고 해수 죽은 거 뒤늦게 알고 달려와 해수가 가루된 그 단지를 붙잡고 오열하던 광종의 모습때문에 진짜 많이 울었네요. 어찌나 서럽게 우는지 진짜 광종에 순간 빙의 되서 같이 울었네요.
