Other people say that he was rude for not greeting or looking at his fans, but for his Fans like me, we understand him and still love and support him because that's who he is. He appreciates his fans very much and he shows his gratitude by working hard and doing his best to achieve greater heights. Also doing so many good works for us.

Some of his fans are crazy. One tried to run over his staff with their car, some repeatedly placed trackers on his vehicles, they chase him, stalk him, grab at him, ignore his pleas to stop filming him and the list goes on. He has no obligation to be kind to these people which makes me wonder how he can smile at them at all, yet he still will, but he won't go out of his way for anybody he doesn't want to. He is a very strong young man.

How can you call yourself a fan of someone but then mob, stalk, and photograph them when they are clearly uncomfortable and not consenting? They're no better than paparazzi. A wall of cameras following your every move is so suffocating, poor Yibo 😕

Coming from another fandom, when I saw him struggling...I feel sorry for him. Coz unlike others, he spoke up. He spoke up many times over and the real fans understand him and respect him but there's people out there who aren't mentally fit so they took pieces of him everytime they creeps into his safety bubbles and he smile less and less when he's surrounded by people. There is a video of some people following him to his hotel and they were really close to him and they were filimg him. He told them multiple times to not film him and asked them to leave the hotel if they don't live there as well. They didn't listen to him at all, and he even yelled at them. But after he yelled at them, he got so much hate for being "rude" and not treating his fans right.
