Of course headstands aren’t as easy as counting to 5 BUT here are what I consider the 5 key steps 🔑
• elbows under shoulders will give you more stability, balance AND protect your neck so please abide by this rule 😅
• blocks are necessary for the VAST majority of people in headstand. The amount of hamstring flexibility you need to NOT use a block is extreme, so grab those blocks - it’s not to make it ‘easier’, it’s to look after your neck 👌🏼
• Compression is your best friend here. Think of squishing your body into the smallest ball it possibly can be to find that lift off 🚀
• press down STRONGLY with the elbows and fists the entire time. Push push push and push some more 💪🏼

Thats was awesome im 11 and i can barely do an elbostand i find them easier than headstands bec headstands make my head hurt

A great method to work out elbow distance is to wrap your fingers around your elbows. A narrower distance between elbows actually makes it easier to balance. I like to stretch the skin on my forearms away from my hands, and clasp as Leggings showed. Try 25 breaths in Dolphin (head off the ground, legs straight) to build shoulder strength. - the arms hold you up, not your head!

Never tried a headstand until today. I got it! Held it for a few seconds and then hit the wall. I will do this daily so I can improve! Thanks for the video!

Man wish I could Progress, I get so light headed and dizzy, feels like my head is going to explode after I try to put my head upside down even with the help of my legs.

Do you breath in that upside down position ? Focus on your breath. The reason you feel that way is probably because you are not breathing.

I think you need to invest in an inversion table to gradually increase an upside down position and see what happens. I started that way and now can do both head and hand stands. I prefer handstand at the end of the bed using it as a back support. Find your zone. Good luck.

It doesn't matter (me just getting you better) you first tuck your legs in and you do that for a long time and you can then do it straight okay?

Headstand is not a skill, it's a way of being in yoga, so please practice some yoga which can build your core, arm and shoulder strength, after that please try slowly with a wall support You'll definitely get head and neck pain for two days but if u practice it will go❤
