No hate but I made halters and that and it was so hard to get the hang of it, I ended up giving up because it was really hard to make them especially the halters

This is the method I use for lead ropes! I just get a couple jump rings, attach them together, add a lobster claw to the jump rings, and attach them on one end in the knot

I have a tip . If you want to make it more rope like do double that . Tie the ends together and at the loose ends hold them together and twist and twist and twist until it’s super tight then grab the middle point fold it in half and hold onto the middle of it because if you do it will untwist . Once you got the middle held tape the other end to the table with the knotted end while hold the middle straight and tight and let go of the middle and watch it twist together into a rope pattern . You can do this with embroidery floss and it always looks superb

By the way, I have the same exact horse that you used in this. He dose not have a name because every time I try to think of one for him, nothing ever comes to my head. (Ik it is a mare but to me its more like a stallion so I made his a stallion.)
