"Most people don’t find the standing position difficult." For anyone who has cake, standing or kneeling won't do you as much good unless you have the weight pulled up higher because to clear your butt, you will go out of alignment. I stick to the goblet marches/squats with a knee up towards opposite shoulder and save the around the worlds for my shoulder mobility/cervical stability.

I tried those exercises with available dumbbells yesterday at home. I did not feel struggling because weights were pretty light. Except the pull thrus. You feel your core burning!! I am going to try rest of the exercises at the gym with heavier kettlebells today! I just subbed to you because the information you provide is so rare on social media.

I experimented at the gym today with pushing away the weight on the stomach. For me, the old way of “bracing for a punch to the stomach” is more effective in bracing my core.

Can we just acknowledge that crunches and sit-ups aren’t useless? You use your rectus abdominis to create flexion every time you sit up in bed, or lean forward in a chair. Yes, your cores primarily use is stability, but forward flexion also matters

I can confirm, the bear pose pull thru is actually such a great friggen exercise! I highly recommend it, stay stable and contract your core and I’ve never felt muscles work like that it was great. I also do one leg bicep curl and press trying to stay stable and it’s similar to the March and it’s a core burner. These stability exercises make me feel and move so much better, highly recommend!!

Great way to drop the kettlebell on your calf or ankle. Use a small sandbag if you have access to one. If not and you want to do this movement on your knees, please be very careful!!

I have to really exaggerate and focus during the around the world exercises bc I have short arms, long torso and a curvy lower bottom so the kettlebell gets stuck around my butt and hips. So I really have to get the momentum going so it doesn’t stop or else it goes flying across the room. Which has happened before lol
