The problem is that you kind of have to be inside the superstructure to pokeball Pebbles, which puts you well inside the compression zone. It's a bit of a Cait Sith/Black Materia situation.

@@Pihsrosnec But Red Centipedes are bug types! Which are weak against flying types! And King Vultures are the only ones strong enough to contest it. Plus Red Centipede has no ranged special attacks, which is a bad matchup for something in the air. ...Or you can try catching a DLL instead, but that would just consume your pokeball.

How funny, my first Slugpup (that I actually managed to tame) was in shoreline, with the same colour as yours. The first Slugpup I saw, was also the same colour…bound by destiny? I lost him to a shelter in pipeyard that removes your slugpups for some reason… Rest in piece…gamer… His name was “infinite possibilities, one destiny” Sounds corny, I know, but I really think I was meant to be with him. He is forever in my heart, little booger goober whom had no energy, but a spiteful spirit. Anything that dared touch his father immediately faces a sharp spear to the back. One time he pinned a blue lizard to a wall, he was quite the strong little goober, I’m sad to lose him. Rant over, continue your dive. I learned how to read from reading my oldest brother's pokemon card collection, he had a ton of those giant like. storage totes except all full of pokemon cards, he's been shiny hunting since that game first released (he was 17 when i was like 4, i am literally 21) also a small thing but i love how you briefly include the gate cutscenes, i dont know why it just feels cool watching quick clips of your progression from place to place in the game. and, if it's any consolation, i had a power outage last saturday and it broke my microwave so i know the struggle with spontaneous power bullshit

No, lizards can't swim in any liquid, let alone die juice, and the salamanders and eels are blocked by an invisible floor they can't go past. Plus pokeballs, as held items, dissintegrate in the sea
