Want to improve your bike skills? Ride these 2 bike parks | Boise, Idaho

I took a quick two day trip to Boise, Idaho to visit my two friends Justin and Matt. Unfortunately, they both had to work while I was there BUT I got to meet up with C-Bass and April to ride bikes. They took me to two bike parks in Boise and they had some of the biggest and wildest wooden features that I have ever hit. I was hesitant at first and nervous but with practice and the help of April and C-Bass I was able to conquer some of these obstacles. Its days like these that really make me fall in love with this sport more and more. Ever since my last trip from Oregon I have really felt a sense of confidence with my jumping and it has been helping me a lot throughout all my recent Mtb trips.

Life is funny sometimes. Been wanting to get a Mountain Bike for quite a few years, but my spine has been holding me back. Won't go into details, but my spine has me living in pain a good portion of the time. Because of this, I kinda scrapped that idea for a while. But within the past couple weeks I really got bit by the MTB bug again, and started researching decent entry level MTBs, and binge watching a tons of KZfaq videos on the sport. As it turns out, yours and NRML MTBers channels were the 1st 2 I subscribed to, and here you both are...in the same video together. Funny how things work sometimes, right. Subscribed to you because of the great energy and positive vibes you put out, and NRML because he's freakin hilarious. He's also a larger guy, like myself, and it's great to see there really aren't any limitations in MTBing. Came across you watching some Mountain Creek videos, cuz I'm from Jersey, Watching you overcome fears and sending some hefty gaps is inspiring. Hopefully by 2023 I'll have my 1st real MTB. Any suggestions for someone looking to get into it? I've been into BMX since the 80s, so I know how to ride a bike. Broke my spine some years back and it's never been right, so I gave up dirt jumping, ramps, and riding street. Still have mediocre bike control riding flatland tho. 2022 has been tough. Only been on the bike a handful of times this year. Thoughts on a decently spec'd entry level bike for a 240lb, almost 50 years guy, with a lame spine? I'd really love to get a hardtail, but maybe a full sus might suit me better to take some of the shock out of the ride. Not really looking to spend more than 3k. Less would be ideal, but 3k would be my cap if it came with good enough parts that I wouldn't have to swap stuff out right away. Any thoughts and/or tips would be appreciated. Keep up the fun vids. Awesomeness! Super inspiring! I’m 56 and roughly 2 years in to Mt Biking(with lots of Gravity sports experience-& BMX in my youth) but still… Mt Biking is a bit new in its own specific set of fundamentals etc.. Your channel (among others) is a great source of inspiration and confidence in my own progression. I ride with a VERY experienced crew… so my progression has been pretty rapid. This particular video of yours comes to me at a perfect time! …as I’m just approaching/prepping for this level of jumps/drops. Thanks for the Stoke Heather!🤙🏼👊🏻

I'm 40 and I recently started riding my bike to work just to save gas and Its hard to explain how enjoyable it is to ride again. I've been checking out some videos on bikes because my trusty old bike that I got when I was 16 could use an upgrade. I live in Boise and would love to ride those trails.
