Worst game? Nah this game is actually good, even if it's bad. Don't even know what this means. But for that it's better than a lot of recent triple A's.

@@mam0lechinookclan607 That’s my whole point, this game is good but it got a lot of bad reviews. (IGN gave it the same score as Gollum for example) And it looks like a bad game at face value. But in reality is a lot of fun.

I would still prefer some triple a games over Wanted:Dead because Wanted:Dead reminds me so much of The Devil's Third but with more bugs and glitches and a story that's enjoyable but still doesn't make sense. There’s something so Oboeshoesgaming about Oboeshoesgaming using a literal cheat code to unlock the easiest difficulty, then complain that the combat is boring. Such a great content creator.

Same, the way the gun-kata works is actually pretty unique compared to other character action games. That and the pistol counters are really cool. I unironically want a sequel to this game but with better story writing and voice acting/directing.

@@thugX52 yah the pistol serving as a stun move to get breathing room in a katana fight is definitely one of my favorite parts of the game as well.

You’re correct though, most of this game is built off of Devils Third assets and ported from UE3 into UE4.

I'm fairly certain Devil's Third doesn't exist. I remember waiting for that game as a content starved Wii U owner. Waiting....and waiting...and then hearing it is probably a mess and they maybe don't want to release it...and then I got a Switch and Series S and didn't ever have to think about it until right now. Man....now I realize even though it definitely sucks I still want to play Devil's Third.

Edit: Guess I kinda forgot about how most Mortal Kombat videos with fatalities included are also age restricted. Still one or two chainsaw kills shouldn't be that bad

Funny thing is, this game's X-factor is pretty much just ripping off Yakuza's gimmicks then putting it on a 3rd person shooter.

The studio that made this game is the result of a merger involving the makers of Devils Third for Wii U. It was criticized for ungodly amounts of jank, stupidity, and nonstop senseless violence... But I loved it! Watching this video, it's clear Wanted: Dead is the spiritual successor to Devils Third. It looks like the same gameplay with a fraction of the jank. Despite the fact I loved Devils Third, it did run like hot garbage.

@@CourierSiix there have been other games that came out in terrible states and a year or so after got remaster/definitive editions/directors cuts. fixing major issues and adding content. It's almost certainly not going to happen. But this feels like the beta of what could be a really good game.
