I remember the good old days whenever the mod first came out. Me and my brother would always play it together and spend all night and day playing it. The experience was so real and this was before you could buy guns so the experience was quality since you would be attached to your stuff. Then my brother went off to college and I have really no one to play with. It's almost 3 years or more now since DayZ has came out and I still play it. I've seen the best of DayZ and the worst, I have at least a hundred stories of DayZ for both the good and the bad. I would like to say that this game has changed my life with sounds really bad since its a video game and all but it got me and my brother closer and now we don't really see each other any more. I felt necessary to write this in honor of Frankie and DayZ for all the good memories and making them still happen. Thank you truly, you are true heroes.

Frankie is legitimately the reason I got into PC Gaming. Watching him play DayZ made me want to build a gaming rig. I work in I.T now because of it. Even if he is not uploading a whole ton he is still my favorite KZfaqr that always puts out quality content.

I asked my self a couple of times why the Arma 2: Dayz Mod series by Frankie had such a long gap between them until i watched this video and really realised that this is probably one of the most well made and detailed game series on KZfaq. Like seriously Frankie, i would rather watch this than The Walking Dead series! Keep it up man!

That looks really cool, agree with you that boarding up windows etc would be great in Standalone. The debris in the road, such as the partial roadblocks, broken down cars, long grass growing in the concrete etc really seems to add to the immersion in this mod. I love the standalone but it always feels like time has stopped the day after the infection wiped everyone out. With fresh fruit everywhere and not much evidence of nature reclaiming the towns, it is improving though and the new hidden base is more overgrown. I think they are going to get there it is just taking longer than some expected. I know you've stayed away but I'd love to see a little video, perhaps 10-20 mins of you playing Standalone at some point. Perhaps once they have the 0.51 patch moved to stable as it is supposed to bring with it some improvements to performance. Thanks for the vid Frankie, the intro was amazing! PS any thought on trying 1080p 60fps? It may look better quality wise for more of your audience than 4k.
