The men went back and got Smith and Wiederman. They then took Gill to an aid station to get his arm fixed up. It’s one month later. The men are waiting for their next assignment and Roberts walks up to Captain sturdy and asks for a smoke. Sturdy is having a flashback and snaps out of it. He then tells Roberts the story of DDay.
