Early Bird is a very good combo. I didn't choose scout because of the fort layout not being great for a rush, so I opted for a tank to eat some zerker shots if need be (but they ended up on opposite sides). I haven't been banning Berserker lately in part because of ego. I am getting over the stigma that it is unstoppable and also focusing on not putting all my attention towards it, rather just being faster. Your draft choices were perfectly good. My thinking: if I had banned zerk, you'd have Earl with March which is very strong given the rest of the units available. In essence, you'd have an S tier and I would not. So I opted for both of us having an S tier unit, albeit yours being better than mine. I banned Archer to try to even out that imbalance. There were two "bad" units available, Archer and Lancer. If I banned one of the "good" units instead, we'd both end up with a "bad" unit. This way you only have the dud while I have 4 viable units in my army. There are some scenarios where banning a 2nd round pic (in this case: KN, SC, CB, RG) would make sense, like if Redeploy was available and I wasn't planning on taking Scout, then maybe banning that would be better. Final notes: since you took initiative because you realized you needed to flip the point with the SC, you needed to recruit SC instead of KN. You were only drawing 1 coin and you needed to up your odds.
