At 2:48 a hand grabs the soldier and pulls him back behind the tank. This saved his life as the panther was just about to fire. If it would have shot with him standing next to the muzzle break, the blast deflected by the blast would have probably killed him. Thats why on the M4 (76) sherman and M18 Hellcat the muzzle break optional but not required. Some tank had them while others (like the M4A1 (76) "In the mood" did not). Slava Ukraini 🇺🇦

This guy sure is popular in both War Thunder and WoT. The "In The Mood is a decal in the US selection menu, while World of Tanks featured a Lafayette G. Pool medal and is attainable when you're able to destroy 10-13 tanks in tier 5 above

I have a deceased Grandfather who served in Marines and saw combat twice in a tank battalion both world war ll and Korea! He lived life to the fullest died at the age of 81.

I was thinking, you could maybe make a video on the battle for Itter Castle, it's nuts. Americans and germans accompanied by french celebrities fought against the SS in a medieval castle turned prison. PD: I love how you don't settle for your content's quality as "good enough". Amazing untold WW2 story. Put a widely considered "weak" tank like the Sherman in the hands of a capable tanker, and it can even become a killing machine. Imagine how many more kills he will get if they gave him a Sherman Firefly 😁
