I have been looking for a movie for a long time. Maybe some one can help me it is about a church during ww2 who has disabled children in it an American lads there parachute. Fights off the nazis what stood out for me in the movie was the little boy without legs who crawls under the tank to set bombs. I saw it as a kid and never forgot it.

It's a shame that so many war movies of recent years have one major flaw. The clothes and equipment are too clean. I don't think that soldiers and others should go around dressed like chumps. But when everything looks like it came straight from the factory, it's really not possible. This makes it seem unbelievable. Damage.

It seems the driver explained enough why he cannot go at a speed of 100 mph along the forest road. Yes, this is not Hollywood. The Russians have quite real WWII stories. Some were quite amazing. Another fact: Soviet intelligence almost always replayed German intelligence. IMHO because of the stupid arrogance of the Germans. The Germans, even before the invasion of the USSR, did not bother to conduct real reconnaissance of Soviet military power, because they accepted by default that in Germany all the best weapons. Therefore, for the Germans, the T-34, KV, IL-2, PPSh, Katyusha, etc, etc.. were a surprise. The same arrogance is now demonstrated by the US. Oh, this omnipotent narcissistic American propaganda.

They are fighting for their countrys freedom. They wouldn't have had a worry if they kept a few nukes when they had a huge arsenal and the gear to deliver them anyplace on earth. It's hard to watch a good movie like this without remembering the crowds of unarmed Russian civilians facing down tanks outside of their White House while defending their young democracy from a return to communism. Communism lost but they never stood a chance against the gangsters who stole the congress, gave themselves lifetime immunity, and looted their way to today's oligarchy under Putin.

Немцы здесь совсем не глупые. Но факт в том, что немецкая разведка часто проигрывала советской. И это не из-за глупости, а из-за самонадеянности и вере в мнимое превосходство. Даже накануне вторжения они не удосужились провести реальную разведку советской военной мощи. Просто были уверенны, что все немецкое превосходит по умолчанию. Я интересуюсь этим периодом и прочитал много документов и мемуаров всех сторон конфликта. Такой глупой веры в свое превосходство, как у немцев не было ни у кого. Именно поэтому они проиграли.
