This movie is awesome and it really does deserves an Oscar nomination for Best Picture and Andy Serkis (as Caesar) also does deserves an Oscar nomination for Best Actor Andy did a great job at doing motion captures on Carsar from Rise (2011), Dawn (2014) to War (2017) You can feel the emotions through his character and Caesar and the other apes looks so realistic and spectacular For me, War for the Planet of the Apes is one of the best film of 2017 next to Wonder Woman and Beauty and the Beast This film does deserve more Oscar nominations not just for Best Visual Effects This movie is a 10/10 stars for me⭐️😊 ✊🏻Apes Together Strong!✊🏻

I think guardians of the galaxy vol 2 was one of the best movies of 2017 along side this movie and Thor ragnorok. Just about any movie from the mcu ( exept iron man 2 , Thor dark world) is better than Wonder Woman

Matt Reeves was inspired by a few movies when he made this. One of the directors that he admired was Akira Kurosawa. You can really see his influence in the fighting at the beginning. Anyone else think Reeves likes the movie Ran?

Technically he already is on the inside. Scientist found out that what separates humans from other prime apes is our ability to question. Other apes don't seem to understand that others besides them can know different things. We see many apes ask and questions things so it's safe to assume they're human enough.

Bullets are more lethal than arrows, so how are soldiers afraid of arrows, but now bullets, which are much faster and u cant see bullets coming

This is peak planet of the apes, the music Caesars message, the environment and atmosphere, I really love the idea of a future where humanity is nearly dead and intelligent apes are at war with them for control of the planet, and I say that because I wish they didn't make some of their themes and ideas cliche.
