When I was a little girl I saw The Amazing Colossal Man. His face really frightened me!! Just the same I couldn't look away. I was a horror fan from a very young age.

I remember seeing this film when I was like 6yrs/old . These were the T.V. horror films of the times , late 60s' early 70s' and we kids loved 'em . Fast forward to today , and I realize why our parents couldn't understand how we could've been frightened from watching such a silly movie . I still enjoy watching 'em even though I gotta admit that they're no longer scary . Glad I found this channel !

Thing is... As a kid... I watched all these silly movies. Horror. Sci-fi, etc. Nice that younger people can enjoy them.

The Amazing Colossal Man and War Of The Colossal Beast were 2 of my favorite Saturday afternoon Dr. Shock theater movies shown on tv, when I was little. Thankfully, my mom & dad were both into horror movies, especially my dad, and would let me watch the movies with them.

Great one, this is a perfect choice. Beers, Fireball, pizza and some Livingston dry humor, it's on!

Love these 1950's sci fy movies

I saw this at the Colonial Theater in Augusta, Maine, when it came out. I was a sophomore in high school.

This is so cool. I remember in the 60s every Friday night here in Boston, Mass on channel 56 , when obviously there was no cable etc , used to watch creature feature. And now look you both are presenting them. Not sure where you are located but there was another program with an astronaut an his side kick which was a little space person / martian wearing a white outfit named Bleep with the same type movies. This was the sequel to the Amazing Colossal Man. It's one of the instances that the sequel was better than the first movie. I can't catch CF on Saturdays so my Sunday afternoons are put aside for it. Love your show, the three hosts, and the whole concept of Creature Features.

Review: Movie-:excellent. The Crew: great, but there was serious lack of Livingston this week and he was sadly missed by us. Guest: puzzling...but Tangella gave her a proper sendoff!

This is a part 2. to the movie " The Amazing Colossal Man " where the colonel gets hit with a burst of Radiation ( Gamma or otherwise ) but NOT in the good way . So NO Super Powers just a Big Guy with a circus tent for a loincloth . Funny how in the last few seconds of the movie how it went from Black & White to low grade color . What's even funnier is watching Wendy rollerskate around ... I couldn't help but remember that old song " You Can't Rollerskate in a Buffalo Heard " by Rodger Miller .

This was an oldie and goodie. Thank you for sharing CF! Good luck to Mindy with her roller skating dogs, seashell toilet seats and lint babies. Whoa, that's a big bag of crazy!

Another fine movie! THEM was filmed in 1954, this came out in 1958, and you can see the influence in the bare faced rip off of the hospital scene. When they guy rises out of the sheets and screams my mind filled in THEM! THEM! in a little girl's shriek. That doesn't take anything away from the movie though. It's still very entertaining.

Hey, I've always enjoyed this film, & really felt bad for the Colossal Beast. However, I was thinking it'd be cool if Tangella grew into a giant Colossal Tangella & caused mayhem! :-)

A night with Mr. B.I.G.'s second time around for the gargantuan Army colonel who runs amok. This one's a classic and an all-time fave or mine. Memories of Cleveland TV's "Shock Theater" hosted by Ghoulardi (Ernie Anderson).

I remember my father telling me when the original "Colossal Man" movie first premiered in Irish cinema's the audience couldn't stop laughing. They thought it was hilarious.

Big fan of these movies love them and love creature features..funnily enough was watching some old b movies the other day ...good fun .watched the monster of Piedras Blancas, thi k one of the first attempts at some cinematic gore . Always enjoy larger-than-life characters and Glen was one of the largest. Anyway, interesting info, In The Amazing Colossal Man Glen was said to be an only child by his fiance as well as the original doctors had found a way to reduce his size when they shrunk both an elephant and a camel. I guess like NASA they lost the technology. Still a great movie worth watching over and over and it may be the first b&w movie to introduce color at the end.
