You see a lot more people in the city than the country. I've been told that the tripods won't see the flashlight so it can be used when tripods are around. If you see black exhaust smoke then it's the newer tripods which are a work in progress so don't yet probe houses or pick up the player. That's in the pipeline. The new tripods have their own sound design which creeps me out more than the 05 sounds. The 05 tripods do probe houses & pick up the player. On the first day they just blast people, sometime after that they will start harvesting people. Just like in the film those tentacles on the front are retractable

its one guy doing all the coding. one guy doing the main models (tripods and probe). then a couple of sound designers. and maybe one other technical person

oh and a music producer. the music you hear is actually in the game and not edited in

Everyone working on it deserve a massive amount of credit for what has been done so far.

He has one or two people who've been working on the new tripod designs & someone who has come on board to help with the IK (animating legs & toes so the interact with the ground properly). Everybody who's helped deserves a medal

You clearly didn’t watch the movie since you keep calling the tripods robots which they aren’t anyone who’s a fan of the war of the worlds knows that

Calm down we all make mistakes. You clearly have not watch my war of the worlds reaction which i watched on a DVD.

My guy, they are robots, most of the tripod is mechanical the rest is organic
