In an Unexpected twist the Electors in Alba Chose Fergus, Findbarr's younger wise son to follow him after his short reign. King Fergus believes this signals that the realm is stable enough to support a true dynastic rule rather then a continued use of Tanastry Elections. With Influence and his sharp mind he intends to win over both the Universal Church and his vassals to the idea that his own Son would inherit and all of their son hereafter.

The Holy Stick should become an artifact of the Legend of Saint Caitilin purely because the legend discusses how she was a defender of a holy site and the stick only gives Learning boosts. Maybe a heavenly weapon given by the angels that only Caitilin was fit to wield and only she could unlock the Holy Power within it or something of that nature. That would explain why it gives no prowess or military buffs because only she could wield it.
