the problem with the british tanks in war thunder is that they're infantry tanks not heavy tanks

This thing... some people may not like it, but for a heavy tank player who for some reason has better luck with British tanks than any other nation, I can say this is probably one of my favorite tanks I've played so far. The addition of the frontal tracks essentially means it has so much armor that a Tiger I can't penetrate it at any range, and Panthers can't pen beyond a few hundred meters. Angling to 30 degrees is enough to stop those guys even without the tracks, so with the addition of the extra armor, this thing is practically indestructible. It's a wall of steel and nothing else, and I'm completely fine with that fact.

This is the one SUR that I disagree with. If you know where to aim. The Churchill MkVII is a beast, and when you fight the Russians, even the 5.7 Russians, its Super fun as they can't pen you and they Panic like fuck. With the Germans its a little less fun and the Panther and Tiger can do through you like a hot knife through butter

I played it pushed to the frontline by myself deflected 8 shots and let the team won the game Sadly its arcade.

It's a frustrating tank as half the time you're fighting Tigers, Panthers and IS2s which are almost immune to the BR 2.0 peashooter.. It's also dam slow and a huge bomber magnet plus its armour doesn't bounce much these days.

I have no issues with VII. My issues are with the completely useless ammo. I have put up to 11 shots into an enemy tank, watched their crew be killed, ammo blow up, and their tank on fire from damaged fuel tanks, and still their tank will not die. Whatever lions you gained you lose in paying for useless ammo

The AP shell can actually pen the frontal armor of a T-34 while the APCBC can not.

Fun fact: I once faught a Churchil Mk.VII in KV-1. My engine got shot and Churchil was litterly right in front of me. I've just started repairing and all shells shot from the Churchil bounced off my armour, and when I was finish I've just went behind it and killed it.

This guy is too negative about this tank. and when he said it takes longer to turn the hull than a Maus, he is wrong. It actually is a lot faster at turning than most vehicles (while moving and while stationery with it's neutral traverse). I'll summarise the tank properly: Gun - Poor but just about usable. Speed - It's very slow, you will hate this sometimes. Manoeuvrability - Actually rather good, easy to drive and turn etc. Armour - Amazing in 4.7-5.3 max br games . Starts to get a bit less impressive at 5.7 but can still work with skill. (At least until Gaijin nerfs British heavies with weakspots and huge turret rings they didn't really have irl once more while not touching the Jumbo) Stealth - i know, I know. You didn't expect to see this did you? It's actually rather small as a tank (comparatively), so it's in game visibility rating is actually 87% iirc, which is better than most medium tanks at it's BR (if not all), which are around 100% to 125%. Not particularly useful but thought I'd mention it. Hope this helps you guys.
