Love my Shill Box, it's the best tank to play for the Ground RB meta of getting bombed by CAS since the armor is as small as the comments section on the Battlefield Engineer video.

Yeah well when it's able to tank 152mm HE with its *12mm* of armour, I think its fair to say the damage model isn't quite right. The RoF is also pretty insane, for only 1 actual loader. Any chemical/HE shell above 90mm should instant wreck it, because it has less armour than my computer screen.

I have the VFW, and it is *good* , as it should be for the work required to get it, but it’s so far from OP that it’s laughable. And the Allies still have over a 65% win rate at the BR.

Franz Patrick Yeah fair point A lot is fishy in war thunder especially when it comes to armor and (post-pen) effects of some shell types But see you‘re not a whiny wanker because you just mention it constructively and just stop there. If you look around the web you see everybody claiming „op as fuck“ over everything and pretty much acting like you can’t kill it but pfff you can kill everything homie just play smart lol

Having used both, I've found that the WaffleTractor and VFW are both effective SPGs, although they have slightly different capabilities so your playstyle will dictate which you prefer. The VFW is faster, has a quicker turret traverse, and reloads quicker whereas the WaffleTractor is smaller and therefore easier to hide. The VFW can get away with close quarters city fighting much more easily and effectively than the Waffentrager, so on large/open maps the I prefer the Waffentrager and I use the VFW on maps that have a higher probability of close-quarters fighting.

Much better with the skirts down since most players can only seem to hit the gun shield and the two Hans-es in the front hull can soak most shells.

I didn’t know the skirts affected the reload until I watched this. That would explain why it reloaded about as fast as a Sturmpanzer II

I think you misrepresented this Toaster because in my experience it one of the best tanks ive ever played, the 4s reload on a long 88 is godlike and pen everything at your tier, the nonexistent armor is better protection than the Tigers UFP so dont Trashtalk my Toaster

Its a really long word because of german language rules. They glue words together. Theres actually a way to create a single word that like infinite. This rule is for describing something to to pinpoibt accuracy like pointing out a specific shirt button, or being a flak canon

You’re probably just bad if you think the VfW is hard to play. It doesn’t set of APHE rounds, has enough armor to block 7.7mm rounds, has a super fast reload rate, the cannon breech is hard to kill due to its small size, the spread out crew make it hard for HE rounds to even harm them. The front armor is also enough to block 75mm and 76mm HE rounds. It’s also pretty fast as well

This thing is weird, i've hit this thing with a Object 120's HEATFS 3 times center mass, gun , transmission no hull break or shrapnel like the Object 120 usually does. It's the Kiwi Strawberry CapriSun it is the only way too protect German tanks.

I like how the quality control on the VFW was so fucking non-existent it was a glitchy vehicles that I'm surprised that didn't brick the game or people's computers. I guess it bricked it self. The VFW slightly more useful than 3 vehicles that are arguably some of the worst. The quad lmg truck the Russian truck have. The quad lmg "tank" (it's more like a tractor) British spaa. The Stewart that only has a 50 cal also a bonus practically the entirety of the French tech tree until rank 4.
