The Panzer IV F2 was at one time arguably one of the best tanks in War Thunder at its Battle Rating. Things have changed a bit in the game since then and I thought it would be a good time to revisit this hard-hitting classic.

Bo, can you please try the Crusader mk:II. I know you recently tried the mk:III, but I promise that the mk:II is a lot more fun. For one it is a LOT more manoeuvrable and has good acceleration for it's BR. It also has a short reload which allows you to fire follow-up shots very quickly. (3.6 sec I think). Attempt #5.

There are some weird things happening in the game lately, like I still have no idea how I lost the rear section of my DD in a battle, do there was no visual damage to the modell after I pumped the water out, and I didn't lost the rear ammo rack neater... like I hit a mine or something (NO there were no torps, they NEVER hit ME)

sometimes trees just say no to a plane. Flying above them: hitbox still kills you. Other times trees are as real as holodeck episodes

Tactical withdrawal to reposition for better shot at the enemy while minimizing your overall exposure to them, thats what you are doing. Also, camo pattern wasn't suitable for urban environments that don't involve sand and mud... Btw Bo, a vid pitch for making music videos of all your plane, tank and ship kills ever made, montage style, set to epic and dramatic music. Whadda ya think?

because it has its down side: everything he can face can also kill him. even most of the reserve tanks can kill the f2, dont count in the french.... they have salut guns only in reserve

@@Stephanthesearcher How is that any different for any other tank at this BR? Chaffee (M24) - crap gun, no armor. Chi-Nu - ok gun, slow, no armor. P40 - crap gun, slow, poor armor. T34 - crap gun, good armor. All tanks have strengths and weaknesses but having played all of the tanks for this BR, I can say that the F2 is by far the best. It moves really well, has bouncy armor if you angle, and an amazing gun, low profile, smoke. The IVG sits at 4.0 and is practically the same tank.
